Location right next to the train station made it easier to lug bags back and forth for the one-night stay. Also quite close to tourist points of interest, including being next to start of Vernazza-Cornelia hiking trail. Waiting area (or coffee area or breakfast area) was very comfortable.

Room was more than I anticipated. It was very clean, quaint room with local personal touches, good shower pressure, large bathroom, great location, beautiful view. Relaxing on patio every evening was a treat, especially smelling the honeysuckle & all the flowers in bloom. Elena very helpful & gave us wonderful dinner suggestions

Donna Barbara and her beautiful apartment were perfect for our stay! Steps away from the main piazza in Vernazza, and the delicious restaurants and shops, it was in a perfect location for exploring the town. Donna Barbara was a wealth of information as to where to eat, and how to take the train to the other towns, and what to see. I can't thank her enough for making our stay so enjoyable...we highly recommend it!

Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra...
Vernazza is probably the easiest of the Cinque Terra villages to get around. This lodging is up a cliff - 111 steps! But the view! Monterosso has the best beach. Corniglia is charming but amazing amount of stairs up from the train station. Riomaggiorie is the largest and plenty of amenities. Steep hills! Vernazza was overcrowded.
Vernazza was overcrowded. The trains that accessed the town were horribly overpacked and at times the city streets were impassible. I hope that the tour groups that flooded the trains and streets will be limited in number in the future otherwise the quality of life in this beautiful village will be diminished,

Vernazza was a beautiful unique place to visit--so glad we were able to experience it! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso was somewhat difficult because of so many steps but very worth it for the views. We would have liked to have taken the ferry back to Vernazza from Monterosso but it had not started running for the season yet, so we had to settle for the train. We loved everything about Vernazza! It is way more beautiful than I had pictured! It almost doesn't look real! The restaurants, food, drinks and dessert were all delicious! We hiked above the town and had breathtaking views! We were there in March so we had some rain upon arrival in the morning, but the sun came out on our hike and it was beautiful! We walked every where from the train station~ it was so easy to get around! The shops are darling and we bought several items! The view looks down into the square with the sea as a backdrop. It’s perfect. I also loved the light chatter from below restaurants - gives you a real Italian feel. The room itself is very modern: decor, entry/locks and bath/shower. Wifi worked exceptionally well - I worked remotely out of this location and had zero reception issues - lots of zoom/Skype and downloading of files.

The host provided great directions to make it easy to find the place. The apartment it self has 3 levels with a beautiful roof top patio with an amazing view of the city. The home is brand new, very modern, haven't seen anything like this in all of Italy. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen area is beautiful, with laundry machine and dishwasher. The views are amazing and the apartment is very clean. The little kitchen was a lovely surprise which was great to store food and cook small breakfasts. The location is fantastic and very central within the Cinque Terre especially for people who want to hike as Vernazza has two paths to do. Overall very happy with our stay!
