Everything! The riverbed lodges with the jacuzzi are perfect especially for us who are celebrating our first wedding anniversary. The views are magical. They sent out breakfast every morning and you can also have a bbq if you want to. Plus we get to bring our dog since this is a pet friendly accommodation. There are a lot of activities in the vicinity as well.

Fabulous cottage in beautiful location. Photos don’t do it justice.
It was clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a week away, even a special drying room for your gear (thankfully not required during our stay!)
Really well equipped, and the welcome fruit basket was a lovely touch.
Scenery around the cottage / Glencoe is breathtaking. Lots of walks straight from the door and in the surrounding area.
Couple of small shops close by and not too far to the pub.
Would definitely stay again.

We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains,...
We spent 2 days in Glen Coe, in the heart of the mountains, outside of Fort William. Arriving from the south we had a fabulous drive through the height of the mountains, and enjoyed the Glen Coe visitor center for their historical displays, gift shop and recommendations re local hiking trails, and places to eat.
We appreciated that this is a very undeveloped, yet stunningly beautiful area with just the right amount of places to see and enjoy for a 2 day stay if you like an leisurely experience re all that an area has to offer.
Just beyond the area, be sure to take the Gondola ride to the top of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain. There is a good cafe at the top to take in the views, see mountain bikers ride the trails and take a walk on nearby paths.

After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi...
After a really friendly personal welcome from Tony and Mairi, we settled into what is a luxurious studio, with great thought given to its design and decoration. The bathroom was amazing with an enormous rolltop bath as well as a very efficient shower. It was a cosy spot for the two of us and well equipped for a couple.
It only rained occasionally, so we were able to enjoy the glorious view over a coffee outside on the terrace.
We felt spoiled with the choice of possible hot drinks and chocolates placed around (there’s a nespresso machine and cafetière).
The studio was spotlessly clean.
We eat in at nights with the help of the microwave (there are rings to cook on too) only because I was too tired ! But we followed up our hosts’ recommendation of The View at Stalker Castle for a very nice coffee, soup and salad in a great spot down the coast a bit. Really though, loads of places to eat about, including the hotels 20-30 mins walk away via the cycle track. Another reason to return!

We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands.
We stopped at Glencoe on the way back from the islands. As non-climbers, 24 hours was perfect to stop by the visitor centre and take in the views. The vistas are truly stunning and the national trust visitor centre is terrific - we had a lovely coffee there. It’s the most touristy place we visited on our trip, so I was glad our visit was relatively brief—but it really is a must see.

We stayed in Beach House 3 for two nights and it was far too short. Plenty of space with huge picture windows and a well equipped kitchen. The view and the facilities were phenomenal. Hot tub sunsets and then star gazing with dark skies. We could not recommend this enough and we will definitely try to return.

The hotel, its self, is very accessible and there are ample parking spaces.
The surrounding areas of Glencoe - has ample walking 'areas' whether on the flat or for climbing. As far as I am aware, you have to travel for nearest shop for provisions - But we were self sufficient - as I had packed reading material and things for us to do as we were there for relaxation.
Stayed here for two nights and had an absolute amazing time, reception and waiters were absolutely amazing, went out of there way to ensure we were happy and offered great service everytime. Location was beautiful with views of the snow topped mountains and Loch to the front. The hot tap gets very hot very quickly though so take caution! Very rich history, lovely architecture, close to ski resort, nature reserves and other amazing locations. Food was amazing with a buffet for breakfast and lovely dinner options! Highly recommend this hotel!
Robert and Morag were wonderful hosts with breakfasts made to order and a dinner cooked for us that exceeded our expectations. My husband and I could not say enough about the hospitality offered by this wonderful couple, the beautiful location, and the House itself. Comfortable, welcoming and generous - I took my first bath in years in the deep tub in our bathroom! We explored the Highlands from this location as a part of a 10 day vacation to Scotland. Every recommendation Morag made was spot on. We would return again.
Great wee hotel with spectacular view of the lake and the mountains! Super comfy bed and good size room. Very clean. Friendly and very attentive staff. The pool and the Jacuzzi ( very hot water which I loved!)are a great bonus! Overall very pleasant stay and defo would be back in the future.
Also it's worth to mention, tasty breakfast and dinner and last but not least - the best sticky toffe pudding I have ever tried!
Thank you guys, for amazing stay :)
A very special hotel, truly a unique experience, as it is a renovated castle / mansion with only 5 huge suites and breakfast / dinner is served directly to your room.
Staff is very friendly and helpful (activities, tips etc)
The view onto the lake and the surrounding gardens are spectacular! Truly a place to come and disconnect, indulge in the beautiful nature around the hotel and enjoy a very special couple of days.
The property is located on the banks of Loch Linnhe, just outside Ballachulish so well positioned between Fort William and Oban for visiting the west coast, both north and south of location.
The hosts are excellent and helpful and suggested lots of things to do and places to visit.
The cycle track across the road is a great way to walk along the loch and to access the Holly Tree hotel (25 minutes) for a great meal.
The hotel has a lovely old world feel. Situated right on the edge of Loch Linnhe. Perfect for that after dinner stroll. The rooms are modern and comfortable. With a very comfy bed and a power shower. Just what’s needed after a full day out exploring. The food options are excellent. The hotel is also dog friendly which is a bonus. Jimmy my 7 month old Border terrier loved his little good bag.
We checked into the property straight after climbing Ben Nevis and this hotel was the perfect place to recover! We were surprised with a brand new hot tub and sauna when we arrived which was just what we needed. Room very clean, with lots of lovely additions. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. I would definately recommend the lobster!
We had the pods at the back of the hotel. It was a VERY fun experience. It's right next to the Loch with some beautiful walks right in front of the door. The restaurant food was very good. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with recommendations for drives and sightseeing.
Hosts were wonderful. The place was exceptional. Lots of space. Well decorated. Spotless. So great to have such an inviting, roomy and comfortable space after traveling out of small hotel rooms with that cramped, scattered luggage, in transit feeling to them.
Loved that we could take our dog. It seemed that the hotel was understaffed but the 2 we mostly saw were super helpful and friendly. Food was delish and the view over the loch from the spa was divine. Such an interesting, characterful building too.
The location was beautiful and the staff were nice. The hotel looked lovely inside. The views were simply stunning. The house was spacious, with a few extra touches would be worth the price however you would expect more for the price you pay
Nestled by the Loch in a little village, the hotel has wonderful views and a relaxed atmosphere.
Small pool for a dip after a day out.
Easy access to the road.
Restaurant on site - lovely evening food.
Excellent staff throughout!
The staff were excellent....very pleasant and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was hot and tasty.
We were attending the gin school so staying "on site" was helpful and convenient.
Great location, lodges were clean and well equipped. Dog friendly. Hotel breakfast and dinner was lovely. Amazing staff in hotel who accommodated us as a large party. Location is perfect for hillwalking.
We stayed in 7 hotels during our stay in Scotland and this one was the most expensive one. The concept is very cool, cute lodges in a great location, very clean and wonderful, very welcoming staff.
The property was situated in a great location for travelers on a Scotland road trip. Situated right in the middle Glencoe valley, it was a perfect stop for us before making our way to Isle of Skye.
This is a nice little historic hotel with a splendid atmosphere and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast could hardly be any better. The staff ist friendly and helpful.
