Never had a decent breakfast …. The Hungary crowd with no respect for anybody but themselves , it was nothing but a fight to have a decent breakfast.
The free rides to the places wanting to go was great, thank you.
Dinner in the Dining room was acceptable and good service.

The house woman was a wonderful lady- so hospitable, so smile and soo good cook.
She helps us with the best route for the Plitvichki lakes, then we had amazing dinner- we had very big portions and so delicious..we had also home made rakia - so good and light. We felt like at home. And this great lady even gave me a little bottle as a present and seeds for blitva ( something i liked at the dinner).
The house is very nice and clean and it us only 3km from entrance 2 for Plitvichki lakes. If i go again there, i will stay again there surely.

The owner was so friendly..He is not fluent in English but always communicate the nessary help somehow. We got to know other tourist destinations to visit in the evening, not only the national park. That was nice suggestion to utilize the time perfectly.
Only a 15-minute walk from Plitvice Lakes in Mukinje, the traditionally built Villa Knezevic offers authentic Lika-style accommodation made from stone and wood.

the hostel is near to the entrance of Mukinje village, so just get off at bus station Mukinje and cross the road to the village. hostel is about 15-20min walk away from entrance 2 of Plitvice Lakes, just need to walk through a trail in the forest, which is refreshing. there is a bistro serving mainly pizza opposite the hostel, so dinner can be settled easily. there is a small supermarket in the village, up on a slope near the entrance of the forest trail to the lakes. suggest to get your necessities when you return from the lakes before heading back to the hostel for the night.
Only 1.5 km from the Entrance 2 to Plitvice Lakes National Park, this family-run guest house offers en-suite rooms with flat-screen satellite TV and free WiFi access.

Stunning views in national park Pltivička jezera.
Stunning views in national park Pltivička jezera. Plenty of walking paths that are exceptionally maintained. Restaurants, coffee and souvenir shops can be found on main spots with decent prices. Most of places are card only which is another big plus for this place.

Plitvicka is beautiful.
Plitvicka is beautiful. I recommend booking tickets well in advance and going early. Upper and Lower Lakes are beautiful. We walked both lakes in one day, starting at approximately 9:30am, finishing at 4:00pm during shoulder season.

Comfortable bed! Location to Plitvice park entrance #3. Quality of food was great. Variety of breakfast options. Ease of parking. Staff:) Free activities: pool, table tennis, small ‘zoo’, several outdoor sitting areas.
Cons:
Size of shower (no problem for us as we are small) Charge for archery.

The scenery and walkways were awesome.
The scenery and walkways were awesome. Loved they kept the walkways more natural in wood and rock and how they weaved throughout the park. They apparently limit the number of guests, but it was VERY crowded both late afternoon and early morning. Hard to enjoy nature with heal to heal people on the paths. Would have paid more to have less people.

That is a magnificent park surrounding beautiful lakes and waterfalls in every second step Although heavily crowded during the high season it does worth to try it perhaps twice so that the second day may have the chance to find an appropriate combination of routes more serene. It is a lifetime experience if it is not crowded.

the park is beautiful and like no other place on earth. yes, it was crowded as we were warned about but we got in at the 8 am timeslot and overall it was fine. definitely purchase your tickets online in advance and get an early slot. Slow down and enjoy the park. its kind of the same thing wherever you are in the parl - crystal clear and calm lakes, with small stream waterfalls and them several larger ones. All of it is beautiful. walking the entire park, you will either get bored because its the same thing throughout, or you will be blessed and calmed by its beauty and having the opportunity to relax, slow down, and enjoy one of the most beautiful places in the world

The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Plitvice park. We were able to walk in from the hotel—about 10 minutes from the little-known entrance 3, and then another 10 minutes walking to the lake and park amenities. The included breakfast was excellent. Dinner was also very good and we appreciated having the restaurant on site as the hotel is in a remote location. Most of the staff was extremely helpful — they provide detailed info about touring the park and even loaned us an umbrella as we were unprepared for rain in summer.
We had one of the most wonderful stays in the villa. It's located in al village, Mukinje which is approx 20-30 min walk from the Plitvice lakes entrance 2. The walk through the forest itself was amazing, The host and staff were really very helpful and patiently answered all our queries. The busses to Split, Zadar, Zagreb stop just 2 min away. Since it's a village, there are limited eating places. Pizzeria Vucnica is located just across the road has really good pizzas.
The location of the apartment was perfect, allowing us to walk via a short trail to one of the entrances of Plitvice Lakes National Park and avoid paying for park parking. Although the outside of the building and the stairwell area showed a lot of wear, the interior of the apartment was nicely renovated and thoroughly modern. A small grocery store was just around the corner, making it easy to get breakfast and lunch items.
If you are looking for a place to stay near Plitvice, look no further. Eva is a wonderful host, ánd cooks delicious food from her outdoor kitchen. The garden has beautiful views over the mountain just behind. The personal touch and relaxed way of accommodating the guests made this one our best and definitely most heartwarming stays in Croatia. Away from the crowds, at walking distance to the entrance of the Plitvice lakes.
The staff!!!! Oh my goodness. We all felt so incredibly welcomed day and night. What beautiful people are working there. There are a few animals at a petting zoo and my kids loved billiards. On sight restaurant always open is a plus.
Great location for Plitvice park and one employee walked us through some options for visiting the park. We even left our car at the hotel and walked to the park. Great spot.
We liked the location and the environment of the hotel. It is located in a wooded area of the Plitvice National Park. The attractions of the area are easily and quickly accessible by car and bike, but there are also several hiking trails accessible from here. The hotel itself is new and tastefully designed, the staff were friendly and helpful. House pets are alloved too. Our cat Ziggy enjoyed the stay. :)
We absolutely loved this hotel! Excellent breakfast and located close to Plitvice NP. Our room was extremely comfortable and we loved the decor throughout the hotel. We also had a delicious dinner at the property for a very reasonable price. The host truly could not have been kinder to us, he even gave us tips for the rest of our travels in the area and plenty of homemade brandy!
Breakfast was very good, dinner was also good but to Croatian standards we thought it was a little expensive, €30,- pr person for a 3 course meal, excl. drinks. The lady that served breakfast and dinner was very nice and helpful.
The room was also very good with a nice few. The entrance to the Plitvice Lakes was a 20/25 minute walk.
The staff was very kind and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable! The property is very close to the Plitvice Lakes and we could leave the car parked in the hotel. The breakfast was very complete and fresh! The owner was I contact with us and ready to ease our stay with them! Totally worthy, exactly what we needed!
The room was big enough for two people. The beds were comfy.
The food was really good ( both breakfast and dinner menus ).
The location of the hotel is great because you are in about 5 minutes you are at Entrance 2 of the Plitvice National Park and these 5 minutes are walking from the hotel room to the entrance.
Hospitality on the highest level.
I have booked the hotel for my parents as a gift. The owner lady went beyond to help to keep them fully pampered during their stay. The breakfasts and dinners were amazing! Her kindness is something else! This is the PLACE to stay if you are visiting the Plitvice National Park.
The location is great, close on foot to the entrance 2 to the Plitvice Lakes Park and there is a market and parking just in front of the building. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and cosy. The communication with the host was easy and quick.
The owner was absolutely wonderful! He made sure to make our stay as enjoyable as possible and was so attentive to everything. Every part about our stay exceeded our expectations and the hotel was the best part about our stay in Plitvička Jezera
The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to plitvice parks second entrance. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel and room was very clean. However I would only recommend staying here if your priority is location over comfort.
Best stay we had in Croatia. The hotel rooms were amazingly clean and beautiful, the lunch packages were delicious and the owners were super nice people. They gave us a ton of valuable recommendations. We'll be back for sure :)
Excellent location a short walk from Entrance 2 to Plitvice National Park, nice big hotel with dining room, bar, sauna facilities, buffet breakfast was great, terrace bar was great for relaxing drink after hiking through park.
Great location, walking distance to Plitvice exit 2. Rooms are very clean, hotel staff is nice and friendly, breakfast organized in nearby Hotel Jezero excellent too.
