A family run accommodation where they are friendly and happy to help. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The ability to cool/ heat your room was made so easy with multiple windows and a door out to a large private balcony and a split system unit in the bedroom.
A highlight was the barbecue dinner. We were joined by guests from surrounding accommodations and our choice of trout (whole fish), which came with vegetables, salad and chips was more than enough for two people. And delicious.

Near Plitvice Lakes, quiet area, but near many local restaurants and supermarkets. Restaurant of choice was GRAND LAKES RESTAURANT, Plitvicka Jezera. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Barac Caves is the perfect place to chill, play area for children and three forest trails leading from the carpark. Exceptionally clean and plush toilets there too!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Plitvice lakes national park, i.e. only a short ride by car of 10-15 min. to entrance 1 as well as entrance 2 of the Plitvice national park. Several good restaurants as well to choose between.

Our host was very nice and helpful . The room was very clean and has everything that we need for our short stay. Breakfast was prepared for us and was delicious. There are few restaurants in a very close proximity. Sara recommended us one of restaurant and the menu was great.

Lovely countryside area. Close to Plitvice National Park. Also there are a lot of additional walks to be made in the area. If you enjoy riding a bike, the whole area can be explored by bike. Also rafting and kayaking are an option for the area.

Easy to reach Plitvice which was a main reason for choosing...
Easy to reach Plitvice which was a main reason for choosing this area. Local supermarket and great restaurants within easy reach. Easy to get around we drove out to Velebit for kayaking and to see the bears at Kuterevo Bear Refuge. Went to Barac caves and saw horseshoe bats, tried the local quad bike trail and visited Rastoke.
