Location was good just off motorway but quiet Restaurant next door excellent at good price.
Didn't take breakfast after reading reviews so can't comment.
Room was nice but bathroom layout bit strange making shower pretty much unusable as it was long but thin very awkward to use.

The hotel has an excellent location right by the Roman bridge 'Puente Romano'. Just cross the road go over the bridge and you are already in the old part of town. Perfect

The hotel was fine, not expecting too much from Salamanca anyway, good location, alright place to sleep, hotel a bit old but atleast it does not seem run down

Great surprise. Looks like a petrol station when you arrive, but turns out to be a boutique hotel with fabulous fun decor.
Locked parking available, next to, but not connected to motel. Room was large and comfortable with stylish bathroom and thoughtful dog facilities. Location is on edge of town, very easy access from motorway. Quiet suburb with nearby excellent pizza restaurant for supper. Breakfast in petrol station, again seemed strange, at first but was very good and comfortable.
Plenty of nearby fields to give doggies a run
We have stayed at Resotel several times and always found it to be exceptional. Juan Carlos and his team work hard to ensure guests’ comfort. The hotel is delightfully quirky but in a wonderful way. The motorsport theme is brilliantly executed. The location is perfect for Salamanca and the autopista. Partner restaurant Pizza Pizza, a few minutes walk away, is similarly fun, with excellent food and super staff. Both hotel and restaurant go well above normal standards to deliver outstanding service.
If you’re a motor sport fan, the rooms are fun, plus there’s tons of F1 and Moto GP memorabilia throughout the hotel. Our room was in Team Repsol racing colors. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our two cats. We were given cat treats/toys at check in and there were water/food bowls in the room. We had an excellent continental breakfast with good coffee. The hotel is just off the A66 so very convenient as an overnight stopover. We can highly recommend it!
Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, considering the hotel is on a main road. The bathroom has recently been stylishly renovated. The staff directed us to park the car in front of the hotel security cameras. We only had coffee at the restaurant next door but it was busy & the food smelled delicious. Staff there were very friendly. Salamanca is a 10 minute drive. Perplexed why it's only rated 1 star as the hotel is worth more than that. We'd definitely stay there again
Stop over on our way to Santander, The hotel exceeded my overall expectations, from reception hall to bedrooms and friendly staff. We had 2 very clean and comfortable bedrooms. ADDED BONUS-- we could park our 4 motorcycles on the underground parking which was locked overnight! Wish we had stayed longer, will definitely return.
Really a hotel that exceeds expectations. The attention to detail is unbelievable. If you'd say to someone you stayed in an hotel above a gas station, I think anybody would have a certain kind of image of something like that, well I think what you expect and what you will get are opposites of each other.
This hotel is well placed for a stopover from the ferry to Lisbon or South Portugal. It is basic, very clean and has a good restaurant next door. The continental breakfast is simple but good value. There is a security camera to ensure vehicles are safe. Excellent shower, comfortable bed.
an unexpectedly a good hotel near Salamanca city. they did a great job of decorating this hotel with racing style. there are a lot of small things (like giving your pet some treats or leaving some treats for you) that makes this place even better.
So many mosquitos in the room... Tried to kill them all but more appeared during the night. Old hotel and run down. Bed was ok, bathroom small but ok. Breakfast very basic but plenty is available.
Fabulously unique hotel, well worth a visit, certainly recommended. Without doubt the best hotel petrol station I’ve ever stayed in (first hotel petrol station I’ve ever come across / stayed in!).
Our third stay at Resotel Villares de la Reina and we keep coming back. It is well maintained, comfortable well equipped with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
This place is definitely more than a transit hotel. It is a wonderful experience of experiencing a unique concept created by wonderful people with great imagination.
