The Bath Hotel offers a superb location, in the heart of the village and directly opposite Lynmouth Harbour and the Lyn River. An excellent breakfast is served every morning.

Very quaint.
Very quaint. It is known as Little Switzerland and certainly lives up to that name. We ate at our hotel The Rock House and at The Village Inn. Also breakfast one morning at The Rising Sun (sister hotel of The Rock House.)Everything is within walking distance. All the shops are gift shops or food outlets. Nearest small supermarkets are up in Lynton, easily accessed by the Cliff Railway. There are no Banks, Post Office or ATMs in Lynmouth. Most pubs and hotels only accept card payments.

We first came here 46 years ago on honeymoon so it was great to come back again for our anniversary (we have visited several times over the years) and not much has changed. It is still beautiful, friendly, quiet and a place we will return to again.

Beautiful village right next to the sea and river that can be explored for miles through National trust walks. Also has an old cliff railway that allows easy excess to Lynton which is high above Lynmouth.

First class place to have a short break.
First class place to have a short break. Lots of walking around the area, good selection of shops, although the majority were closed due to staying in late November. Disappointed the railway wasn't working linking Linton.
Wonderful place to stay in an absolutely beautiful town. The building has so much character, and my room was perfect after a hike along the coast path - having a bath was the best surprise I could've hoped for! I was able to grab a drink from the bar and sit in on my windowsill looking out at the sea view. The restaurant wasn't open, which was a shame, but the manager very kindly arranged a table for me at their sister hotel, the Rock Inn, which was lovely. Fab location, tasty breakfast, comfy room - all you could ask for.
The Bath Hotel (with the adjoining Ancient Mariner) was excellent - staff were also excellent. We used the hotel for 2 nights as a base to walk part of the south west coast path. One day we walked out the Valley of the Rocks and the other day out to County Gate and return to Lynmouth. The coast and woodland areas were beautiful. The Blue Ball at Countisbury was well worth stopping off for lunch-great pub.
The hotel is right on the sea front and rooms with sea view, which we had look out into the estuary. Great for people watching and watching the surfers. Breakfast was great...preordered the night before and evening meals also good. They make sure that residents are offered tables first. Given there are only 3 or 4 places to eat in the evening some with limited menus it's well worth prebooking
Lovely atmosphere, genuinely quirky and characterful property in a good location for N Devon, walking on Exmoor., visiting Lynton & Lynmouth etc. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very good food and service. Cosy and atmospheric and much bigger than it appears from the road. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, especially those with dogs. Plenty of parking opposite the Inn.
Richard and Helena were natural hosts. We were welcomed and helped with parking straight away. It was lovely to walk into a lovely warm welcoming entrance. Our room had great views and breakfast was a friendly, relaxed and tasty start to the day. The hotel is in a great location, decorated tastefully and we would thoroughly recommend both it and Lynmouth!
Lovely views along the coast and along the river from the windows and the terrace. Peaceful and quiet location. Friendly and helpful owner on site. Steep walk down through the pretty garden into Lynmouth, a couple of seats on the way back up for a rest. Easy access to lots of beautiful walks without even taking out the car.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Lynmouth, can't get any better location. We had a beautiful suite with a small kitchen and fridge, all needed amenities. Had fresh towels daily. Breakfast was great too and a nice surprise for a small hotel. Overall highly recommend if your visiting Lynmouth
Lovely spacious apartment, bigger than expected. Very nicely decorated & fitted, obviously a lot of thought from the owners. Ideal location for walking round Lynmouth & Lynton with good eating very close.
Very quiet which is a real bonus after noisy hotel rooms!
Stunning location! Been staying in North Devon for years but staying in Lynmouth was an absolute treat!
We cannot fault the hotel nor its staff!
Me and Partner loved Jeanne, she made us fell so welcome and every morning would have a lovely catch up!
Great views and really well converted apartments - all high quality and no way you could tell it was once a hotel. Work being done on the grounds shows good upkeep too. Also the on site managers were able to provide extra logos for our fire
Laura and Jenny were wonderful hosts! Location was perfect…our room had an ocean view. Walkable to all we wanted to see in Lynmouth and Lynton. Breakfast was the best English breakfast we have had since arriving in England!
Lovely hotel in every respect. Jason gave us lemonade and gave my friend a ride to her campsite, and also gave her a walking stick. Such a nice man. Oh, he also sent me off with croissants to eat on the trail.
The bedding was nice, the room was clean and functional. The mattress was comfy. The cooked breakfast was lovely and the service at breakfast was great. The location was excellent, Lynmouth is beautiful.
Location was excellent. Poor weather prevented us from our planned walk, but we chilled out in the hotel instead and took a long drive out to explore the surrounding valley
