The hotel was tired and in need of a good update, room wasn't what I'd expect when paying this kind of money, very basic and in need of a refresh, furniture was basic and knocked around, so generally not to a good standard.
Breakfast had good choice and was good quality!

Beautiful, well appointed apartment. Located across the road from the castle which was the focus of our stay.
Daniel, the owner is extremely helpful and quickly ironed out the glitch in our stay - namely the people staying in the additional apartment had taken both sets of keys, despite very clear instructions to leave the other set in the key safe.

I Spent the day at Stoneleigh Park, where I judged dogs and thoroughly enjoyed my day at The Kennel Club Building. The hotel was a short drive from Stoneleigh Park, which I understand hosts a variety of activities, shows & exhibitions. I can highly recommend the hotel which is also very dog friendly for those exhibiting at Stoneleigh Park.

We were there to visit our granddaughter who is at Warwick University,
we found good restaurants and bars in Kenilworth very acceptable and close to where she is staying, which meant that we could actually walk to them.

Stayed in the quaint and very picturesque old part of town which was delightful. Good selection of restaurants and pubs and attractive walks in the village and down to the castle. The town commercial centre is not as attractive and looks a little tired. Overall though I would happily recommend a short stay (in the old section).

Church amazing and worth a visit.
Church amazing and worth a visit. Walks out the back over marshes lovely. Visited site old railway..lovely to see local history being promoted and preserved. Pub excellent..gins fab..food gorgeous and hospitality and service top notch
The room was a good size for our family of 4, the children loved having their own big bed (not a sofa bed) and it was very clean.
The café and bar were newly designed and the garden was lovely for an evening drink.
Reception staff member was very engaging which was nice upon arrival and the employee who served us drinks was very happy and bubbly.
This hotel didn't have an ice machine like other Holiday Inns but the morning breakfast staff made no fuss with sourcing ice and cold water for us.
Really nice clean hotel. Friendly staff and was perfect for the celebration we were attending downstairs.
Great positioning on the main street, everything within walking distance.
The bar is great and the cocktails were of a generous measure and high quality.
Simple breakfast but was perfect for what we needed.
Room was of a good size considering it is in a listed building and the rainfall shower was great.
Lovely.
The staff were amazing but fighting a losing battle having to deal with customers who were misled and let down with their expectations based on the hotel’s website. They did their very best to tried to make things right and were friendly and helpful but this didn’t make up for the fact that be hotel was dated, dirty and lacked the services they advertise on their homepage.
nice and convenient for my partner to check in when I wasn’t able to check in, staff were friendly and check out was efficient. nice cosy room with tv and modern shower room, everything was nice and clean
I would stay here again if in Kenilworth
parking available behind the hotel which helps
Well-appointed hotel in a lovely location with very helpful and pleasant staff. Although the restaurant prices at first glance appear pricey. The food was excellent, and with no 'optional' service charge and being used to 'London' prices, it turned out to be pretty good value.
The Cow Shed had everything we needed and it was perfect for our break to visit family and friends. Not far from the Castle, but not too far to walk to Kenilworth. Very quiet location. Zoe is very friendly and accommodating
Was a lovely, quaint, apartment. Bonus was that bigger, cheaper and much more homely than a hotel room. They even have a coffee, tea and sugar just, so you don't need to take your own (unless you need milk).
This hotel has been a home from home for me on many occasions over the years. Lovely part of Kenilworth. Good atmosphere. Great breakfast and welcoming hosts. Parking is limited, but I knew that beforehand.
A good hotel in the right location for us to visit family over Christmas. Parking was easy and there were enough spaces to accommodate a rather full hotel. Cleaning staff were very help and friendly.
lovely quaint property, fab location and excellent friendly helpful staff. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant as well. Much nicer than a premier inn style hotel, it felt more welcoming and homely
Very lovely hotel staff we're very accommodating and friendly the room was nice the bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.food was nice hubby had the biggest fish he'd ever seen lol
Plenty of space and well equipped. Excellent location in the historic part of Kenilworth. Plenty of options for eating and drinking within walking distance.
Everything. It was a nice well priced hotel in Kenilworth. Despite only offering a continental breakfast, it was still very filling and more than ample.
