The Breakfast was fantastic and freshly cooked. The Location was great, not on a main road. With on street parking.

All of the staff were efficient welcoming and friendly. The building facilities were very good. Nice room with excellent bathroom. The pre-booked afternoon tea, which we received as an anniversary gift, was excellent and good value for money. We just had a sandwich platter for two in the evening which was also excellent and very good value for money. Breakfast was also very good. However, we did not eat in the restaurant as we had an superb, and large, steak pie meal at the nearest pub, the Bricklayer's Arms in Laxton, on the second night. The grounds were pleasant.
A private hire car all the way from Howden to Laxton to pick us up from the Briclayer's Arms to take us back to the Hall cost £25. However, it was "Pie Night" in the pub the following night and a lady, Shelley, who was a customer in the pub offered to come and collect us from the Hall and to the pub and back again afterwards. Absolute angel. All the locals were friendly people and the pub was a real gem. The home made pie was big and tasty.
Plenty of places to eat. We didn't go out to try nightlife bit there was plenty pubs/clubs within walking distance of apartment we stayed in. We visited for my hod daughters parents wedding blessing & would like to go back again as we didn't get the chance to have proper look around. If you stay in one of the apartments there's plenty of shops & also Tesco is close by. We were told a little about history of Goole & would have like to have ground out more. Hopefully will be returning to visit my god daughters family again end of April for 80s night which charter club is organising

Goole has plenty of industrial areas and docks..
Goole has plenty of industrial areas and docks.. Wouldn't say its a place to have a holiday, but where we stayed was peaceful. Unfortunately not many places to take dogs for a walk. The river side overlooking the cottage we stayed in was a dog walking path, but it wasn't very long. Blacktoft nature reserve does not except dogs, Eastington pond nature reserve does except dogs. Good shopping area in Goole Town.

Realy nice big house it was clean & comfortable.
Realy nice big house it was clean & comfortable. The host was realy nice & helpfull. The bed was realy comfortable bathroom nice & clean . But the toilet seat was a bit wonky. The breakfast was realy nice .
Very clean apartment with a well-equipped kitchen. Tea, coffee and sugar were provided. Perfect as a base for working in Goole. Bed was comfortable and very little outside noise. There is a shop and take-away next door with a good-sized supermarket a five minute walk away. Plenty of on-street parking. The walk to the centre of Goole only takes 15-20 minutes, so was able to leave the car when going to work.
The host's instructions on accessing the property were concise and directions there easy to follow.
It's a quite and good place to stay. Apart from the fact that the host was a nice person, the people nearby are also nice and welcoming people, from the BURGER SHOP MAN who made a delicious ITALIAN PIZZA for me; he also charged my dead phone for me. I can never forget how the GROCERY SHOP LADY helped me charged my phone for more than 2hours with her charger the second morning because I wasn't with me charger and I needed to boost my phone. Humber is a home away from home.
Very nice and big apartments, equipped with love upto the last detail, owners are very friendly and helpful. Great service, best choice. I'll book again. Loved it. Goole is also a nice small town where you'll find everything you need. Wish I would have found that place earlier.
Everything was excellent, friendly lovely hotel just a shame never got to look at the cinema, will book to stay again, breakfast was lovely, but would have preferred tinned tomatoes, just my preference, overall very good, clean n friendly
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast. Easy access to the town. The staff were very quick to sort out a problem I had with the shower which I really appreciated.
Load of space, clean, plenty of take aways and goole town nearby. The owner is super helpful and replies very quickly to your messages. Definitely recommend and will be returning again in the near future
Good location, near to the dockyard and central Leeds. Easy parking. The property was in great condition although some of the walls were scuffed (due to dining chairs being pushed back).
Well equipped apartments in a central location in Goole with lots of natural daylight. Very high quality bedding and kitchen appliances. Wonderful roof terrace with far reaching views.
