Langham Hotel Eastbourne, hotel in Eastbourne

Enjoy sea views, varied cuisine and helpful, friendly staff at this comfortable hotel on Eastbourne’s seafront.

The location of this 4-star hotel near Eastbourne Pier is a major plus. Most hotels on the seafront are showing their age, but the Langham Hotel seems to be much better maintained. The rooms are tidy, the bathroom is squeaky clean, and the staff are super professional and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, making for a pleasant start to the day. . Other than that, we had a great stay.

Super friendly and helpful staff and amazing value for money. I only needed a bed for the night after an epic walking trek so booked a one bed rear view room. Even though the room was small and you could say a bit old fashioned I loved it, it was perfect for my needs and I sat on the chair by the window looking out over Eastbourne town. I had a fab bar meal in the lounge watching the sun gleam off the gold pier turret. With my room being so cheap I couldn’t believe breakfast was included, and imagined it would be meagre. How wrong I was! 2 eggs, 2 bacon, sausage, mushrooms, beans, tomato, fried bread, 2 pieces of toast with all the jams plus tea/coffee and fruit juice. Wow! All that whilst sitting on the seafront watching the sea swimmers. This hotel is away from the busyness of the pier area but only a short walk away, and unlike the west of the town there’s free parking in the adjacent side street. I’ll definitely be returning :)

Haddon Hall Hotel, hotel in Eastbourne

Just a 1-minute walk from Eastbourne seafront and the Bandstand, Haddon Hall Hotel offers well-appointed rooms and an elegant restaurant.

Staff were friendly, there was no parking permits at reception and girl told me I don't know where they are "I just work here so can you come back later" Bathroom needs updating. It was that small I kept catching the shower tap and burning myself with the hot water. (too small). Breakfast was OK but not worth the £9 extra.

Devonshire Park Hotel, hotel in Eastbourne

Set in a grand Victorian building across from The Towner Gallery and Congress Theatre,Devonshire Park Hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi, designer toiletries.

The property was lovely, my room was cozy but it was perfect for my one night! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and clean. It was nice and quiet when trying to get to sleep. My room was facing out the back of the property and I had no problems with noise. The parking was brilliant, I arrived around 1:15PM so knew I was early for check-in, I was able to be checked in at that time which was a bonus! It was clearly signposted when you got closer to the town centre which was helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and was cooked to order which meant it was nice and warm! All of the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful.

Eastbourne has many facilities for short or a long stay. A pier, terraced walks along the front, pebbly beach, many bars and restaurants. The town is split into quarters such as artistic etc. If you take the time lots of nice places tucked away from tge centre. It has a modern shopping centre, very good transport both bus and rail. A Marina on the outskirts and close to exceptional countryside that is easy accessible.

I really enjoyed staying at Seaview Sanctuary where I had a lovely bright, comfortable room overlooking the garden. Richard and Katie were so helpful and there was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with delicious cakes, tea and coffee available for guests in the conservatory each afternoon. The position was perfect being so near the seafront and a short walk to the pier and town centre. I would recommend the guesthouse to anyone wanting a holiday by the sea in lovely Eastbourne.

Excellent for nearby surrounding countryside walking and centrally good for exploration of sights and towns further afield across south downs. This is not a 5 star hotel so you cannot expect it to be. For the price you pay its more than adequate. Clean and tidy room. Lovely friendly staff and a nice breakfast with everything you would expect. Location is perfect due to being on the seafront and no more than a 5/10 minute walk to the town centre and right opposite the pier. Our room had a lovely sea view although due to the wind and rain made it look slightly bleak. All in all very happy with our stay.

We love Eastbourne it is great for a peaceful getaway from the London/Surrey area. The Cavendish is our favourite hotel the staff especially Dana are so welcoming always and the facilities are grand. They match our needs as my wife is a little disabled and finds difficulty in walking so all amenities are close to hand here. Not being far to walk to the beach and also town centre and good hotel lift facilities make it such a restful experience.
