Such a sweet hotel/pub with the loveliest owner who went out of his way to help us sort taxis!

This was a great hotel - unusual and quirky - with fantastic service from all members of staff.
The food was excellent, especially the evening meal.
A really delightful place to spend a couple of nights.
A fantastic stay - can’t speak highly enough about the hotel, facilities and staff. The hotel is beautiful and had been updated to the highest of standards with the upmost taste levels, everything we wanted and more! Beautiful hotel, stunning room and very friendly attentive staff.
We will be back to experience the Double Red Duke in summer with a cocktail in the front garden
Thank You!!!
Lovely hotel and restaurant. We ate there for both nights of our stay and the food was excellent and good value (although the wine range is large and not inexpensive). Non-wine drinks are good value, with a nice range of local spirits and beers.
Easy parking on site or on road, very quite and good location for exploring Cotswolds. Nice, comfortable and cosy bar rooms.
The food was delicious, we ate at the hotel restaurant both nights and in particular the scallops were probably the best I’ve ever tasted.
The staff were really helpful, we had some issues with our room since the heating wasn’t working and members of the team were trying within their means to help by providing complimentary hot drinks to our room.
The Double Red Duke is a gorgeous and delightful inn with warm, helpful personnel and a fabulous kitchen. Located at a quiet crossroads in the village of Clanfield in the Cotswolds, you can get anywhere in the area quickly.
Great hidden hotel in a little village. Food was superb 5 starts, one must have dinner at this Hotel a real gourmet food. rooms were big, bathrooms real antiques but beautiful.
Great time at the Double Red Duke - we have stayed in other hotels that were done up by the same team and they always live up to expectations.
will definitely come back.
