The place was beautiful, and the farm with the horses was gorgeous 😍 the place was quiet at night 🌙 and the woman that minded the farm was really kind, she helped us get into the place 😀

The breakfast was great. The location was very central and convenient.
The curtains were great and shut out all the light so we had a good sleep.
The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip.
The hotel and the surrounding area are well worth the trip. We stayed in one of the cottages which was renovated to and excellent standard maintaining original features. The gardens are interesting. I declined to be shown to the cottage but would recommend being taken to the one given as the allocated one was not obvious.

The Hotel is not in Castle Combe itself.
The Hotel is not in Castle Combe itself. It is a short drive away from Castle Combe up a very narrow one track road. The hotel is wonderful and we had a great dinner meal there. Not so fussed about breakfast. We did not want a cooked breakfast and the breakfast bar itself could have been improved.

One of my favourite locations in all of the UK, I have not been back in 29 years and the village has lost no charm at all.
Hot chocolate and cake from a friendly gentleman in the village was perfect on the wet day that we visited.

I loved Castle Combe.
I loved Castle Combe. It’s a really picturesque town great for photos. If you’re there for longer than a couple of hours then the walking tracks surrounding the town are exceptional, especially during autumn. So many amazing walking trails and leafy pathways and wild blackberries all along the tracks. I spent ages just walking around. It’s even nice to just sit under a tree in front of the Manor with a book.
If you plan on taking public transport then make sure you plan getting there and leaving carefully. Public transport didn’t run there on the day I planned to go so I had to take an Uber there, but then getting an Uber out of the town is not an option (unless you’re very lucky). So just don’t take an Uber into the town on a Sunday if you’re also planning on leaving on Sunday or you might find yourself stranded.
There are buses that come but only a couple a day, and some are a bit of a distance from the city centre and you’re likely to lose phone reception if you try and walk to those stops.. so plan ahead wisely. But there should be a bus that comes right to the city centre- just don’t miss it!
P.S If you go for a walk outside of the main town make sure to find the Hollow! The little fairy house hidden in a log, inside it you’ll find a book where you can sign your name :)

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village.
I loved every minute of my stay however, 1 day is more than enough to explore the whole village.
The bridge, church and Manor house is a must see.
Foot at Castle inn was amazing.
Parking is available but public car park is some distance away.
I cannot fault this beautiful village.
Everything about the hotel was great. Only difficulty was driving too and from the Park and Ride into Bath. Satnav directed us around so many country lanes, mostly ones where you had to back up if another vehicle appeared, and the journey took around 20 minutes. Not the fault of the hotel, but now getting an update on the Satnav! Disappointing to be enjoying a meal and a drink with only a garage to look out onto.
Room was really cosy and nicely decorated, breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly - I worked outside the day after my stay and they were really accommodating. We also had Sunday dinner which was incredible! Lots of nice places to see in the surrounding area - we only had time to go to Castle Combe but definitely want to come back and explore more.
The cottage is a perfect place to stay whilst visiting Castle Combe and is only a short walk away from the village. Close to the pubs and cafes, and a good place to start walks around Castle Combe. The cottage has been designed very well to make the best use of space and the shower is very spacious. Also very helpful having a parking space.
I stayed at the White Hart for one night with a number of my groomsmen ahead of the big day. The team were incredibly accommodating and really went the extra mile throughout the stay.
The rooms were spacious yet cosy and the breakfast was a great way to start the day.
Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.
Absolutely loved this property! Stunning rooms, so comfortable, excellently presented. Six of us enjoyed our stay and spent a lot of time in the hot tub! Kitchen and dinning is well stocked. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay right in the centre in Castle Combe. Treat yourself!
A quintessentially English cottage in a beautiful village. Very well equipped and comfortable with a well stocked Kitchen. The vaulted cathedral ceiling in the Master Bedroom with a four poster bed completed our wonderful relaxing vacation in the Cotswolds.
Really cozy vibe. The patio has a fire pit and the owner allowed us to use it. It’s really a perfect place if you are looking for somewhere to relax and to have a break from the bustling city life. The place is also close to Castle Combe
Great property, and great location.
If you are looking to get away for a quiet weekend within walking distance of Castle Combe, then this is the perfect place!
And as a bonus, you get a wonderful view of the Ponies in the Paddock!
The hotel was fine and our drinks were served competently, as was the breakfast. Unfortunately, as we had spent the afternoon and early evening with a friend of ours, we were unable to sample the dinner menu.
Lovely cottage room. Excellent facilities. Bath and shower were amazing. Christmas tree in the room made it all the better. Great location. Lovely village pubs. Hotel so unique.
Really lovely stay. Peaceful location and walking distance to Castle Combe village. Accommodation is comfortable and our host went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
Bathroom was really well done. The king bed was very comfortable. The ambiance v was lovely. The Castle Inn restaurant offered a nice selection for dinner.
