Truly incredible breakfast, can't be overstated. Welcoming and lovely host with great tips. I mentioned briefly I was interested in a short nature walk - got instructions (a hand drawn map!!) how to reach a nearby viewing location where I saw the Alps, beautiful. Also easy location for starting off your day at the Foundation Beyeler - bus goes often and nearby. Returning is easy as well - on demand night bus in the evening, parked at the last stop of the normal bus. Told driver the address and got off right outside the door to the B&B. Booking here also gives you a BaselCard - 50% discount on many museums, activities in Basel.

Room was great. Beds were comfortable, the sofa bed was perfect and large for my daughter so she didn’t roll out of the bed. Comfortable cot mattress for the baby.
Breakfast was fabulous either way a great choice. Staff really friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic staff, especially the lady who helped us with our bikes in the morning (sorry for not spotting her name) and Ivan. Both stays have been excellent. Cycle friendly. Perfect location for airport bus and for trams around the city. We really liked our room. Very clean. 2nd stay in 9 days and will be back again when next visit Basel.

It's dated but comfortable
I am comparing with our next stay in Switzerland which we have paid double the amount and the facilities were very poor.
Staff was great.very pleasant girls
Only issue was there was no kettle to get hot water or make a cup of tea.
Otherwise for the money ,highly recommend
