The hotel room was exceptionally clean and looked brand new. I was sick when we got to Nazare and the bed was so comfortable that I was able to sleep for 12+ hours. The balcony was a nice addition as well. The breakfast was basic but good. The shower was perfect and the room and bathroom were a good size. Public underground parking within walking distance of the hotel.

The view from our terrace was fabulous! We had an apartment, it was quite large and comfortable. The restaurant was superb, and we had dinner there for two nights. By the way, we stayed there 2 nights, not just one. I had made an error and had to book a single night twice.

Location was perfect. Extremely polite and helpful staff to the point of riding on the car with us to show us to the parking location and coming along to the laundromat to ensure all went right with the laundry.

Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair.
Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair. We have been there three times in the last 15 years. My wife's favorite and dream place. The city is slowly going through a transformation and is becoming more touristy, but we can't judge that hardly since we were always there before or after the season. On the weekends, we noticed a little negatively the many tourist buses that flooded the city for an afternoon.

Nazaré is beautiful.
Nazaré is beautiful. It's a great place to chill and watch the sea. The beach is wide and clean. All the restaurants and bars in the area (that we tried) were great. Shopkeepers were kind and helpful. Be sure to get up to the Lighthouse and check out the Surf Museum. Super cool. It's 2eu to get in and totally worth it. The views up there are awesome. Seriously, I have not one negative thing to say about it.

Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great.
Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great. Gil the manager was amazing with us. In fact my friend left her coat in the closet. When they cleaned the room he found it and sent me messages and mailed it to a spot where we could pick it up. That was amazing.
The apartment was adorable It was perfect for our purposes the view from one bedroom of the ocean was amazing. The view off the kitchen balcony was great and we could see the ocean as well. This is a perfect apartment for two people sometimes for.
I would certainly book that again if I were to be in that area. Thank you

Quaint little town with local vibes, great for a few days visit. It was very chilled and quiet and surrounded by beautiful forest. Cuisine is mainly fish and seafood, though there are plenty of Italian and meat places. Also choc a block with gelaterias!!! We caught Carnaval and it was fun to see the cavalcade and the locals dressed up.

What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest.
What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest. There were these amazing and huge 20-50 ft waves that arrived in sets located near the lighthouse on the cliff at the North Beach while I was in Nazare. The beach was also very nice and wide both north and south of the lighthouse. The sunsets were spectacular, and I enjoyed watching the sun set while drinking wine and people watching at the little beachside restaurants. I also enjoyed walking down south to the marina and going north to the surf museum at the lighthouse on the big cliff in the town of Sitio. The local bus only cost €1.50 to ride from Nazare (near the central market) to Sitio where the lighthouse is located. The traditional food (seafood) was really fresh and I liked that the tradition of fish drying that is done by the fish ladies was still being practiced.

Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio...
Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio where there are the great surf waves to be seen in the winter months and the very impressive display of surf boards and photos of the guys who've surfed the world's biggest waves in Nazare,
Antonio and his wife were awesome. There was a lot of rain and the arrival time got delayed for us. When we arrived our GPS took us a few blocks away from the apartment. Antonio helped us navigate to his place. They showed us everything we needed to know and had a bottle of wine and some muffins on the table waiting for us. It was greatly appreciated and enjoyed. While we were only in Nazare for a day, we did check out some sights and it is worth a stop when in Portugal.
This hotel is on a great location within very close walking distance to many restaurants and the beautiful beach area. Our room was very large and comfortable with a modern bathroom and large shower. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The hotel has its own garage parking that even though not on the property, it is a very short walking distance away. Breakfast is your typical European fare but was fresh and plentiful.
The location and the view over the beach are the best features of the hotel. We had a room on the front of the hotel. The room was a bit basic but it was all very clean and functional. There is free parking at the back on the town. We paid to park just down the road a small amount to check in and move the bags. We would stop again as for Nazaré really beautiful beach and interesting with the surfing, etc.
Communication was excellent - friendly and helpful. We parked the car at the end of the road in a car park and walked to the apartment with our bags. The apartment looks just like the pictures, and seems fresh and new.
It is very easy to walk to the beach from the apartment, and to wonder around the shops and restaurants of Nazaré.
It was nice and quiet at night.
The warm, family-like welcome and care by the hotel owners and helpers, the personal touch from taking our bags to our room upon arrival to the homemade cake or pie baked by the owner served on top of the very good breakfast every day. This family-run place in the heart of charming Nazare is a true gem! Very highly recommended. Thank you for a relaxing stay!!!
The house is amazing. It is super cosy and we directly felt at home. The interior was fascinating. We loved our stay and on our 6 day Portugal trip it was the first and only place where we considered to stay one more night. Besides the wonderful apartment the host, Marina, is so welcoming and lovely. When we return to Nazare we will definitely go here again.
I travelled throughout varies areas of Portugal. One thing that stands out is how super clean all places are kept. This property was above and beyond with being neat, tidy and clean. The host met us at the property to show us a few things. She was wonderful. The beds very comfortable, the towels very nice, the bathroom/shower perfect! Great job. Thank you
Everything was absolut perfect!! Starting with port wine and pastel de nata as a welcome gift. The view from the balcony is amazing! Directly in front of the house is e big parking place. The aparment is charming and has everithing you ever need. The bed ist confortable compared to other houses we have been to in Portugal. Thanks Amélia for everything!
The location is incredible. Turn left out the door and you’re 50ft to the beach. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant with 10% off for hotel guests.
Nazaré is an incredible little town with lots to offer including a funicular railway up to the old town.
Plenty of restaurants with every option if you don’t eat in the hotel restaurant
very unprofessional !! i’m a female solo traveler. the guy who checked me in took my number from the reservation and texted me at night with the option that after 24hours the texts disappear. the next day another dude from there texted me. i just arrived in portugal so no people had my number. didn’t feel safe at all. BE CAREFUL.
Good location with a wonderful view over Nazare. Also a very well-equipped apartment with everything you need. Very clean apartment. Especially lots of blankets that made the evenings comfortable. Nice terrasse with easy access from the kitchen and living room. Short distance to the beach and Continente shopping.
Best appartment on our Portugal roadtrip. Very cozy, spacious and well equipped. Host was super nice. It's close to the beach and also supermarket. The view from the roof during sunset over ocean was stunning. There are also shades in the windows that can keep both bedrooms dark even after sunrise.
The host is amazing! We felt like home. Beautiful with a very authentic flavour of Portugal living, so comfortable in all the possible ways, we've got presents from the host and great tips. Perfectly clean and warm. The best accommodation ever!
This was without doubt one of the best stays we have had in Portugal. The apartment was very clean indeed and everything was as described. The views from the two varandas were exceptional.
