The location is what we hoped! We were able to stroll across the sand dunes to the North Sea Beach for a couple of energizing walks (first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon) with beautiful views. Seeing the sunset from Westaanzee Strand Restaurant was a highlight! Upon our arrival at the hotel, the young lady who assisted us in checking in was tending the bar area. (No one was at the reception area after 9:00 p.m. ) She was very sweet and helpful. She did what she could to address our room concerns. Her kindess did ease our disappointment.

The personnel were all exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent, and the extra care to arrange an early breakfast, was also very much appreciated. The hotel is modern, however blends in well with the village surroundings. It is situated on the bus route to and from Westerschelling. The bicycles to rent on site, is also a welcoming feature.

We loved the location, completely surrounded by the dunes, it felt isolated while not actually being completely far from everything. There is actually a nice spot for food and drinks right on the beach nearby. We also loved the vibe and atmosphere of the main living area where the breakfast is also served, and the view from the room! Absolutely loved it all
