The staff were so professional and friendly at all times.They treated us with so much courtesy. The room was very comfortable and we had such a lovely view from the balcony.Breakfast was great -such much selection of organic ,homemade foods ,drinks and tea.The dining area was beautiful .The pool and the pool area was very clean.

Very nice family-owned hotel in Wals on the outskirts of Salzburg. Quiet neighbourhood. Hotel itself was very traditional, staff helpful and friendly and spoke English. The room was spacious on the 3. floor, but no aircon. Beds were very good and bathroom nice and modern. Breakfast was fantastic with everything - even an omelet station with a chef cooking your omelet to order with your selection of toppings. Evening meal in the restaurant was also lovely and well priced, with local ingredients. All in all a very nice 3-day stay.

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities...
It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!CarolynUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

the staff is amazing To things are subjects for improvement First 1.enrich the breakfast 2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests

Nice suburb of Salzburg, at the river Saalach (with bike/walk way along) with a few clean lakes, several restaurants, playgrounds... Close to Salzburg city center, a few minutes to Salzburg outlet / shopping malls and airoport. Commuting distance to Alps, lakes, Salzburg castles.....

Excellent wellness center, including a well-equipped fitness room. Amazingly-rich breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff, including the owners, Melanie and Andreas, and the receptionist, Eva, and in fact, everyone. Easy access to the main roads to Austria and Germany and 10 minutes drive to the airport, all without traffic jams.

The mother and daughter hosts are incredible. So kind and helpful. We stayed our first night and knew we wanted to return the following weekend. All rooms were booked, but they told me to email for a cancelation, and sure enough, a room became available and we spent our final 3 nights in Austria here.
