Has lots cooking equipment, Toaster and Frying pan, saucepans, mugs, plates, cutlery, glasses all good condition...but air conductor above cooker...couldnt find how to turn it on or didnt work...so cooking fish and other smells linger.
Shower great, my father loved the floors and lightness, and the set up of the Apartment. TV's in both bedrooms and huge one in sitting room. Does have Wifi. Location was practical as round the corner to the shops and next to Aldi, parking opposite on the road. Plenty of clean bedding and towels in cupboards, beds comfortable. Recommend Coffey's Fish and chips in town, and the Alcohol shop almost next door is an Aladdins cave. The Health Food Shop stocks loads of great alternative products and staff knowledgeable. Even though we didnt see the owner he was available on the phone and very nice.

We love Kilrush!! Found this little town 7 years ago and we always visit when we travel to Ireland. 3 times now. There are so many things to see around the area, Kilkee Cliffs are beautiful along with the countryside. If you want a good sense of what Ireland is like this area has it all. Cliffs, country side, small towns, fantastic people, Central Shoe Store and Patrick's Men Shop are a must to shop in and great food! We will be back!! There is a great coffee shop in Kilkee up the road "The Pantry" wonderful morning goodies.

Very enjoyable time here - loved our trip out to Scattery Island, would highly recommend. The Vandeleur walled garden is also worth a visit. With more time we would have explored more of the coastal areas in and around Kilrush.

The Scattery Island tour is a must!
The Scattery Island tour is a must! Great to boat over and walk the island, tour operators are very noce and friendly.
Kilrush downtown area itself is quaint and a number of spots to enjoy food and drink often outside. Very easy to shop for any items needed a short walk away, Great retreat for less hustle and less bustle.

Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush.
Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush. If you are looking for a true Irish village that few travelers visit, this is the place. It is quaint, and quite, but we had fun shopping and hanging with the locals at the pubs. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We scored some good shopping without a tourist markup, since they do not get too many many, and ate great food. I would absolutely recommend staying in Kilrush and taking the Shannon Ferry to County Kerry for the shortcut route to Dingle. It is absolutely Charming and a step back in time.

Good stopover for 1 night before we caught the Shannon ferry the following morning. Pub meal at Crottys Pub was okay - not a lot of variety but okay for a quick meal. Parking available in the street for free which was handy.

A good hub from which to tour the area.
A good hub from which to tour the area. The trip to Scattery Island is well worthwhile. Good road network for visiting other sights in the vicinity. While there are quite a few take-aways, our greatest disappointment was the shortage of good restaurants in the town.
This place is absolutely perfect for families. A wonderful host met us on arrival and explained everything. Large front garden with plenty of space to park, and a private entrance and garden area secluded away from the main house. The house had everything we needed for a family - travel cot, fully kitted kitchen, etc. The house was immaculately cleaned, lots of spare towels, sheets, etc. Beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable too.
Location is a great base for exploring Kilrush, Kilkee, Doonbeg, and the surrounding areas.
Location, it was a very easy flat 10 minute walk into the town, there are some nice traditional pubs in Kilrush. Also a pleasant stroll to the pier. Lovely views over the estuary from the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare breakfast and a light dinner. We felt the property offered exceptional value for money. Rio allowed us to check in early as the weather forecast was ominous, thank you for that. The complimentary tea, milk and biscuits etc were a lovely touch.
The owners, Greg and Barbara, are amazing hosts. Their establishment is clean, comfortable and their attention to detail can be seen in the way the rooms are decorated. The breakfast in the bistro is outstanding. Best pancakes, croissants and breads. Their hospitality while we waited for our delayed taxi was remarkable. We thank them for their kindness and sharing of information. A must stay place if you go to Kilrush.
Very authentic and unique get ready to step back in time with all the mod cons this an excellent place to stay in the center of all things close to the center of town you get transported to a time gone past and as you look out of the sitting room windows on to the beautiful square in Kilrush you feel like you are the merchant watching for you goods to arrive in to Capps
Depending on your travel plans in Ireland, the location can be perfect. Kilrush isn’t a touristy town, and kind of blue collar, but it’s a great location to get back to Dublin the next day without paying the high tourist town prices. And we’re so glad we did the Cliffs of Kilkee instead of Moher (a tip from our host). Beautiful and we had them to ourselves at sunset!!’
Great location right at the centre of Kilrush. We loved our comfortable and very clean room. Nice set up over the Zoe Restaurant run by our most welcoming hosts. We felt at home straight away. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of personal homemade touches and it was one of the best things about the stay. Would definitely recommend booking the breakfast option.
Lovely room. Great Shower. Towels were so soft and fluffy. Great location right in the middle of Kilrush. Carmel was a lovely host and recommended a few spots for food and places nearby for us to visit. The pub attached is lovely & cosy. A real Irish pub. We will definitely be back.
The staff at Crotty's Pub was mostly very kind. Especially the 'breakfast staff'. They were trying hard to fulfill all wishes. Kilrush is a small town and not that interesting. However, the surrounding of Kilrush is beautiful and therefor it is a good location to stay for some days.
We hoped to find a B&B that was associated with a Pub, and we were happy to stay here. Our room had a view of the central town square, yet it was very quiet during the night. Breakfast was plentiful, but the best part was having a drink in a the Pub that catered mainly to locals.
Stayed here with the family and the house was perfect. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Plenty of space for the kids and the hot tube is an added bonus. House is in a good location just outside Kilrush and a short drive to Kilkee. Would highly recommend for a group.
Self catering cottage over looking beautiful marina views, comfortable, peaceful place. The Host's Mary and Sean were excellent, they charmed us with they're knowledge, historical history and having played apart in making Kilrush a wonderful place to be.
House was warm and well equipped. Older property, but had wifi, skyq, netflix. Full kitchen, and a nice welcome cake on arrival. Stunning view from sitting room window. Short drive to ferry - so both Clare and Kerry at your doorstep.
We had a very nice full Irish breakfast. The host was friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, right in the middle of the town. Although the accommodation was next to the Pub (which was not very active) , the room was quiet.
Great location in the heart of the small town of Kilrush. The rooms are large and the staff was great. The breakfast was delicious. And the food and atmosphere in the pub below (which guests have a private entrance to) were excellent.
Location was excellent but was not in Kilrush as advertised and what I booked on the Booking.com website.
I have complained about the misleading site but have not received a proper response. Can’t get through to them????
This place is a real find, it was way above and beyond our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully finished, and the breakfast was five-star hotel quality. The host was very nice too!
Very central location with shops and restaurants/pubs being in a 2-5 min walk. TV in each room. Air fryer and all the regular kitchen utensils are available. Aldi is literally a 2 minute walk.
My sister and I were on an ancestry trip in County Clare. This location was right where we need to begin our search. it also provided a place to relax and unwind at the end of each day.
