That was great! Wonderful apartments! Very cozy, furnished with great taste! There is everything you need, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The only problem is the shower, very weak water pressure. We really enjoyed it! Thanks a lot!

Local businesses lacked the customer service mentality that seems prevalent throughout Ireland. Very few dining options, most of them full. Cobh is a small town easily covered in an afternoon, and nothing about the local populace invites much engagement. It was a drab experience overall.

Cobh is delightful, quite small but with many things to do mainly concerned with history of the town. It is associated with the Titanic, but amazingly the infrastructure for the big liners is still there: the White Star Line and Cunard offices are still there as is the train station which brought so many travellers to the town. There are plenty of good restaurants in the town and the town is very easy to get around. The only problem is the hilliness of the town. Also Cork city is very close by.

A picturesque little spot set on a steep hill. Beautiful views, fantastic cathedral, interesting Titanic Experience museum. Trips out to Spike Island although we didn’t have time to visit. Easy distance for Cork City and Blarney Castle which are both recommended.

I didn't realize that Cobh was so small and booked two nights there. In hindsight I should have just made it a day trip from Cork. I visited the Titanic Experience which was very informative. It is only about 45 minutes long so I recommend checking it out. There is a completely gluten free cafe there called Hoban's Treats, which was great for me as I am celiac. However, my kids also enjoyed their cake and cookies. I was only let down by two things. The boat trips to Spike island stop at around 2pm and I wasn't aware of that. Also, a number of restaurants were closed even though their sites and Google had them as open. It was difficult to find a place to have dinner that could cater for my dietary requirements.

What a spot. The most beautiful town, with a strong history.
What a spot. The most beautiful town, with a strong history. Locals are great people and the pubs a joy. The standard of music and musician's on show I can only put on a par with the city of Liverpool.
Cobh is a jewel in Irelands crown
The best B&B we‘ve ever been to in Ireland. Location is top, train station and town centre within walking distance. Bedrooms ensuite are extremely large, beds/mattresses perfect and one of rooms with a wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast very comprehensive, egg dishes, salmon etc. every day.
But really unique are Marie & Joe! They anticipate your needs & wishes and give you really the feeling of beeing at home. Extremely responsive, kind and helpful. Next time in Cobh - 100% at Inver!!!
The bedrooms were enormous and immaculate. The house, whilst huge, retains a warm and homely atmosphere. The host was delightful, warm and welcoming, helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to to make us feel at home and even bought me some bread mix to take home as I loved her daily freshly baked bread so much! The location was perfect to discover this beautiful and historic part of Ireland. Would happily recommend to anyone visiting cobh.
The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my partner and Samuel arranged that for me before we arrived. He had been friendly and helpful, and catered to all our requests. We got an upgrade too and got a room at the top with sea view. The hotel had a bar which was really good and we spent a good bit of time over there as well. All local attractions were just 10 mins walk away.
The WatersEdge Hotel was surprisingly beautiful and perfectly situated on the water front. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist with check-in, breakfast, and check-out. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast includes continental and full Irish options, and the food was very good! Walk out on the terrace to watch the sunrise over the water or take a drink out there and enjoy the fresh air!
Check in was easy and the room was clean. There were heated towel racks in the bathroom. It was an easy walk or drive to the main section of Cobh. Breakfast was good - there were some reviews concerned about having to pay extra for the hot foods, but the free breakfast was plenty substantial - soft boiled eggs, toast, scones, cereals, fruit, yogurt, etc.
At first we didn’t really prepare for being part of someone else’s home, and to be treated so well. The hosts are fantastic, made us feel very very welcome, a totally different and wonderful experience from any other b+b or hotel we have stayed in Ireland. View of the bay was wonderful, and the breakfast (with surprise twist) was also wonderful.
Everything was amazing… Marie and Joe are such welcoming hosts! Great suggestions for day trips, making sure we were comfortable, and just generally making us feel at home. The home has been meticulously restored and it is just beautiful. We had a room with a view of the harbor and it was a rare sunny day in Cobh!
My room (16) was spacious and comfortable but, most importantly had a spectacular view so, overall my stay was enjoyable. However, It was also very noisy due to the kitchen located directly below. The location is great and the free underground parking is very convenient as street parking is tricky in Cobh.
The West Beach House is beautiful and overlooks the water. I really enjoyed staying here. The owners are very welcoming, Mary’s fresh croissants in the morning were delicious! Room and bathroom are very clean and nicely furnished. A wonderful place to stay in Cobh!
Loved our stay here. The apartment was big with a very comfortable bed, a huge fully stocked (pots/pans ect.) kitchen, and a wonderful central location. Cobh was a great little town and the stay here really elevated our experience. Would come back to stay here.
Location is wonderful, almost no traffic and with sea view. The equipment in the apartment seems new. Kitchen was filled with food for breakfast. Beds very comfy. A 15 min walk by the sea to the Cobh promenade.
Nice stay in a good sized double room with a great view, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Small bar was cozy with a beautiful fireplace, Cobh itself is a fantastic place to visit.
