Friendly reception; the courtesy kettle & coffee & tea was appreciated (and I made use of them), the room was tidy and clean, so no issues at all with cleanliness.
No bed bugs either, I'm pleased to report. The room was warm enough that I didn't need to pull the blanket over myself. The bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep (much needed).

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood.
Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is a small but pleasant town to visit if you want to escape from the busy city life. We visited Nausicaa, the largest aquarium in Europe! It was worth the drive from Holland! That was the main reason for out trip.

Fantastic location, really close to the old town and to bars, restaurants and some lovely boulangeries. Paco is super, very attentive and helpful. The apartment was quiet and cool even in the August heat.
Double bed super comfy, sofabed a bit hard.
There is a lift as property on the top floor which is a bonus with luggage. An Aldi supermarket about 3 min up the road
Leah welcomed us to the hotel and was absolutely charming. She told us where we could park the car - a real bonus in a busy city. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Only slight downside was that they couldny=t let us have breakfast at 7 - we had to leave without breakfast as we had a ferry to catch.
Thank you we will stay next time we are in Boulogne!
It is a wonderful room, located at the heart of Boulogne-sur-Mer. It is beautifully decorated with an eye for detail; the tiles in the kitchen and shower are very tasteful. We loved the floor heating in the shower. The breakfast, it was yummy. The inner courtyard is beautiful and calming. The check-in was very easy.
The hotel is easily accessible by bike, being on one of the main cycle routes through Boulogne-sur-Mer. The staff were very helpful and let me store my bicycle in a secure room downstairs.
Also, the view from my room was lovely, especially when the sun was setting over the river.
Gorgeous hotel, super comfy large bed, very clean, lovely hosts and perfect location for the old town.
Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We were welcomed by the hosts and made to feel at home despite us not speaking very much French!
Location right at heart of old town. Patisserie opposite, as well as great little bar The Vole Hole, and plenty of restaurants close by including an excellent Indian takeaway..... and easy free parking. My little dog loved it!
The accomodation is close to the touristic area of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaa. The apartment is very well equipped, with everything you could need. The cleanliness was impeccable and the communication very good.
The hotel is in a great location, near the walled old town and has secure off road parking for 10 euros. The breakfast was better than we expected with a good choice of food. Staff were helpful and friendly.
plus point of down-town charm: very wonderfully and skill fully restored appartments in the old town.
It was an overnight stay, yet clearly you can stay longer in Boulogne, certainly in this location.
Top spec chambres d’hotes within the walled old town and with free parking. Our beautiful courtyard room was dog friendly as was the dining room where we enjoyed an excellent breakfast.
