The rooms were well-appointed and we were located close to the Boardwalk at Moonstone Beach (as described) which allowed for early-morning walks and easy access to the Beach. A short distance outside Cambria but probably too far to walk, there are several great eateries in the Town. We particularly enjoyed (and would recommend) Lynn's for lunch, and Robin's Nest and Madeline's for dinner. Also, for those that like horse-riding, there is a local stables offering the chance to ride a Clydesdale shire horse on a local trek with great views. Hotel also provides a light buffet breakfast which is a perfect start to the day.

Nice property and very nice lodge.
Nice property and very nice lodge. Very clean and beautiful flowers outside. Near by downtown. The room was very nice because of clean and fire. Good beds and very nice shower. In the evening there was live music in the bar. It was nice sitting insite with the music and singing, but also nice staying in the garden sitting quit in nice corners with a fire pit.

We visit there at least once a year around our anniversary or birthday's. It's a beautiful town and we love the people that live there. We always eat at Sow's Ear and also go wine tasting at near by Paseo Robles. This town never disappoints.

Cumbria is old, sort of worn out, However everything is overpriced. Few hotels offer any type of breakfast other then room coffee machine.
Nice for a day tip. Not worth staying over for high prices of rooms and restraints.

Cambria is a cute town.
Cambria is a cute town. We thought it was just a drive thru street. But the town is larger than what you see. We walked the town and shopped. Several wine tasting shops and antique stores. We were in town for the Cambria Christmas Market, what an adventure. I am so glad we went and recommend to anybody who is in the area at Christmas time. Affordable. Shuttle pickup makes this adventure an easy leisurely stroll. We also went to the 2 cemeteries in town. The town cemetery is old and pleasingly decorated by the families.

It was an amazing place!
It was an amazing place! The environment, the peacefulness, the ocean, the helpful people, delicious breakfast and delicious complimentary wine... Everything was absolutely amazing. The location makes you feel like you're in heaven. Hotel is very clean and very comfortable. Me and my dog will definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything.
Great location, oceanfront room, with front patio & windows overlooking Moonstone Beach. We saw waves breaking from our patio chairs. Nice furnishings, hardwood floor, spa tub, Samsung SmartTV, comfortable bed. Really nice! Next door is a great seafood restaurant, Sea Chest Oyster Bar. We saw wild turkeys, deer & a juvenile Cooper's Hawk on Ardath Drive in Cambria. Did wine tasting in Paso Robles, approx. 35 minute drive from Little Sur Inn.
We stayed here for close to a week as a "workcation", where I could work remotely from a relaxing, beautiful place. The room was large and comfortable, well equipped and furnished, the view was stunning. Loved being across from Moonstone Beach. The fireplace was great because it was quite cold while we were there and our room was always warm. The breakfast isn't super substantial, but at least they had fresh fruit and some healthy yogurt options.
Amazing dog friendly hotel with great perks like the wine tasting and “light fare” (savory tarte, fish tacos, burger, poke bowl, etc) on their patio overlooking the ocean. All the food I ordered was great, all the staff was helpful and very friendly to my pup. The location is beautiful. The room (two doubles) was huge. Able to set up my pups crate and a pen with room to spare.
Cambria is a beautiful coastal town, the hotel was beautiful and a short walk away from a nice restaurant. The room was immaculate, spacious and had a gas heated fireplace (perfect for winter when we were there)! Breakfast the next morning was great and delivered right to the door; we had the breakfast burritos which were very tasty.
Location was amazing. So close to main street and moonstone beach. The room was large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Even had a small breakfast offering in the lobby with coffee. The hotel water heater went out and the staff had a plumber onsite and fixed it in an hour.
The room was beautiful … and very clean. The ocean view was unexpected! Breakfast was free and was delivered to our room. The staff were very friendly. We were offered a map of the area. I have stayed in many hotels along Moonstone Beach. This is by far my favorite.
The Squibb House is a beautiful old house that is quite quaintly nestled in the small city of Cambria, California. We loved the diversity of the rooms and the calm and quiet atmosphere of the area. The Morning breakfast was copious and the Staff was wonderful.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cambria Pines Lodge. Excellent gardens and pool area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is OK, but the area where it is served is so cozy. I would totally recomment it if you are staying in Cambria.
The location was great, the wooden path along the coast line is an added attraction that we enjoyed. We visited the Hearst Castle and enjoyed the Grand Room tour and movie. This is only about 8 miles from the hotel.
Location was great for us as we were in town for an American Legion Tri-Tip Dinner. It was our first visit to cambria but Definitely not our last, accommodation were 1st class and top notch.
Really lovely property with lots of homely finishing touching giving the California surfing vibe. Loved the free bike hire and the bed was super comfy. staff very helpful too!
The room was large and bright. Location perfect for walking into Cambria and the boardwalk along Moonstone beach. The sunsets are amazing. Staff very friendly.
