It’s a super wee village with all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you would want. Close to woodland walks from the town and short drive to the river and mountains of the Cairngorms a more relaxed feel than the nearby town of Aviemore.

A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Beautiful area to spend time in. The town is small, has some nice walks and cute cafes. It's in a gorgeous location surrounded by the Cairngorms so I definitely recommend for a weekend getaway, or even a few nights to get yourself out in nature.BridieAustralia

We had a good sized, clean and very comfortable room. The food was tremendous!! Fantastic quality and the right quantity. I had the scallops and a fillet steak and it couldn’t be faulted. Perfection on a plate!! The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly, polite and a credit to the establishment. A lots of suggestive places to visit not far from there, we went by car so we could go to Inverness, Loch Ness, Loch Morlich and more. Nature and scenarios breath taken. I would recommend it for a peaceful and adventure holiday :)
