Very clean and inviting. Staff were very helpful. Stored our luggage until check in time as we had plans booked and didn’t wanna carry our luggage around. We got to check in an hour before with no charge. The best bits were the snacks in the room (fruit bowl and biscuits) not cheapy ones either and the bath was just amazing. I hadn’t had a bath in years so it was good to chill and relax after a long day of walking everywhere.

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow combines Victorian architecture and a vibrant arts scene. A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organisations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world class. Not to be missed are the futuristic-looking Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.
Lined with Georgian buildings, George Square is the city’s focal point and the spot for Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations. Fanning out from here are streets housing venues for the city’s main love: music. From classical concerts to up-and-coming bands, every taste is catered for.
As host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow is also a city of sport. Scotland’s 2 most iconic football clubs - Celtic and Rangers - are based here, as is the national football stadium Hampden Park. The Scottish Football Museum is also an excellent walk through the beautiful game.

Glaswegians are a really friendly bunch.
Glaswegians are a really friendly bunch. Glasgow is dirty and run down. Transport options are great, though Metro is poor.
Bus connection from Airport was expensive at £10each for a 20 minute journey. Come on Glasgow, places like Barcelona is 4euros for a 45minute airport express.
Lots of graffiti, litter, drunks and general grimy city. Much prefer Edinburgh. Signage to areas very poor. No tourist information boards, more a working city than a tourist one.

I hadn’t been to Glasgow for over 30 years.
I hadn’t been to Glasgow for over 30 years. While it still maintains a gritty working class vibe there has been many improvements to the cultural aspects of the City
For sporting fans who want to enjoy some footie without the hustle and bustle of Rangers or Celtic I recommend an enjoyable visit to the friendly folks at Partick Thistle FC
The people of Glasgow have not changed since I last visited. Extremely friendly and generous. The Pub culture still exists and I highly recommend stops at The Scotia and The Horseshoe. Quality beers on tap and excellent atmospheres
Getting around Glasgow and surrounding areas is super easy. Numerous local bus options and Scot Rail Stations in the City Centre. For those travelling to Edinburgh…use Glasgow Queen Street. Trains run every 15 minutes and take less than an hour

Our bathroom was very grubby the tap in the bath did not work properly so the water coming from the shower was
lukewarm and the tap had very hot water coming from it at the same time so therefore our feet were getting burnt. Don't think the room was worth the money I payed.

I love Glasgow!
I love Glasgow! This was my third very short trip, but I'm definitely going to be heading back for a longer stay at some point. I'll be able to give a better review of the city when I've stayed longer and actually used the cafes and bars. The chippy I went to after the gig was lovely though, although I can't remember the name. It was under a bridge though!
The way that Clayton hotels had adapted and repurposed a heritage listed building and the linkage between the older and newer parts. Its location was also a selling point overlooking the Clyde and close to the City Centre facilities and Glasgow Central station. Breakfast was well worth it, well prepared with a good selection. The room was broadly good with everything we needed (but see below), good to have an iron, kettle etc.
Hotel incorporates the original the Custom House, which I found cool. The central location, it is a short walk from Glasgow Central Rail Station, for train day trips. It’s a good location for access to walking/biking path along River Clyde. A number of car parks in area for rental car and easy access to motorways. The staff who cleaned rooms were very attentive.
Just off George Square it's as close as you can be to the city centre. Stones throw from Queen Street Station and the main shopping streets of Glasgow, the area itself is surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
The room was fantastic, very clean, huge nearly as big as my first ever 1 bed apartment. Staff at hotel were lovely and professional. 10/10.
This was our second stay at Yotel and, thankfully, this time our shower door didn't open straight into our room! Dignity intact! Whether this was based on our last review or not, we were given a much larger room, with two separate sections. The hotel is located perfectly in city centre Glasgow and the Vega bar is great.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The property is in a great location close to UG, Kelvingrove Park and Museum, and the great shops and restaurants of the West End. it was also a 20 minute walk to City Centre.
The hotel was a little run down but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful!
This was the cheapest hotel that we could find in Glasgow and for the price we paid it was grand. The location close to a couple of subway stations was great, ideal for getting into the city centre quickly. The restaurant and bar were good value, especially for the location
Excellent little hotel with a great location close to all city centre amenities and opposite Central Station. Staff were helpful, cheerful and could not be faulted. The little hotel bar area and rear outdoor seating area are an asset on a steamy Glasgow summers evening.
This hotel was located across the street from Glasgow Central Station and within easy walking distance to Queen Street Station. The subway was accessible nearby as well. The hotel and our room was clean and the rate was very reasonable given the great location.
The hotel feels quite casual not very luxe but considering it’s the highest rated hotel in Glasgow I booked it. It was good but not great. The room wasn’t cozy enough and the ac made clicking sounds at night. The staff however were very friendly.
Excellent location. 10min walk to the ovo hydro where we had a concert and very easy to get into Glasgow city centre via the bus. Bus stop is right outside the hotel.
Room was a good size and very clean, and breakfast was lovely.
Quality hotel in the centre of Glasgow - good size room and bathroom with a bath. Excellent staff who are friendly and very helpful. Restaurant for breakfast on the top floor with a view over the city centre
Nice, clean, big enough, well equipped apartment. All we needed for our stay in Glasgow. City centre location! Everything you need is just few steps around.
