The site Is wonderful in the middle of the ancient city. There is a lovely terrace on the roof. Apartment is complete of every machine. Breakfast amazing in a nice room. I said that I love pastel de nada and I found every morning one just for me. Last day I had the plane in the late morning and I could stay in the house, in the terrace, with a bathroom available. I never found people so kind. Everything exceptional

I had a terrible experience with this hotel and could not even stay there. Upon arrival, the address provided was incorrect, and the hotel did not exist at that location. When I contacted the owner for help, he was unresponsive and unhelpful. It felt like a scam, as he insisted I pay to a private account for extending my stay but refused to provide the correct address. I had no choice but to cancel my booking. Avoid this place at all costs.

Sea , boat trips amazing
But a very long walk to the beaches , you need to catch a ferry and then walk 45 mins
But the islands are lovely and some nice restaurants
And scrummy bakeries
A few nice shops
I would definitely hire. A car as some of the surrounding area are stunning
The yatch club has the most amazing fish
And the Mexican near the police station is also very nice

Beautiful old and new Olhao.
Beautiful old and new Olhao. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and never had a bad meal. Actually loved every meal I had. A long waterfront takes you from the old town to the new town and plenty to see and do.

Lovely little town, with an old town to stay in and explore and a newer town which we didn't really visit. We found the old town to be inviting, quaint, clean, and big enough to meet your needs for restaurants, shops, and easy access back onto the highway. There are no beaches to walk on, you need to take a boat but we didn't try it out. We enjoyed everything within walking distance. There is a promenade to walk a long the water with outdoor seating and great food, loved the garlic butter shrimp, a popular dish everywhere.

I know Olhao as a cheap and quit place but not anymore, its too noisy and expensive for us so unfortunately our next trip will be somewhere else.
For children there is not so much to do.
Its an excellent place for the eldery because of the shops, the bars, the restaurants and the boats to the beach. Eveything is easy to reach by car, bus, train, boat or taxi.
You have to be carefull for sunburn. Especially at the beach.
I dont burn easily but even early in April I got burned so much it hurts.
Be carefull! Also please dont swimm, the water is *** cold and we experienced first hand the tide can take you away from the beach,.

We u5ed to travel to Olhao every winter for at lea5t a month, but for the pa5t five year5 have gone el5ewhere. Thi5 year it wa5 the perfect place to 5pend our la5t of 10 week5 away and we were delighted to 5ee and experience all of new development of the waterfront/marina and main avenida area5. Olhao ha5 lot5 to offer, from great re5taurant5, unique 5hopping, fanta5tic market area and the ferry to the i5land5 i5 a MU5T. We e5pecially recommend taking the ferry to Farol or Culatra, then walking the beach/5and dune5 to the other community [take5 about 40 minute5]. It'5 5tunning and a unique experience.
Ea5y local train will take you to other communite5 along the Algarve for tho5e without a car who wi5h to explore the 5urrounding communitie5.
Great location close to Market, town centre, bars , restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately left some clothes in the apartment, but telephoned next day to receive very helpful information to return and collect from delightful staff.
Best boat tour around the Ria’s with Sabina boat tours, Maria’s help re booking and Joah as Captain, with his exceptional knowledge of the area, fish/clam farming, and lots of stories from his life long experience of living in Olhao was a terrific afternoons trip.
We stayed in B&B Olhão for 3 nights. Everything worked well. Location is great - close to train station and plenty of cafes and restaurants around - and quite unique (upper floor to a shopping center). The hotel is very modern and new, comfortable beds, super clean and well planned in every detail. The staff is very kind and we felt very welcomed in the hotel. I wish I could remember the name of everyone who helped us, but a special thanks to Diogo, who went above and beyond to help us.
The family owners are really lovely Cristina and Alexandre wer happy to be of help. Thank you.
The clean rooms with a nice balcony. Shared use of the communal areas and a massive roof terrace that have views of Olhao.
Shower rooms and Toilets outside rooms but not a problem as seconds away from rooms. All kept super clean.
Olhao is a real gem with a great mix of locals. Trains and Buses to Faro, Tavira and beyond.❤️ Whole place had a calm vibe with nice decore. 😊
Only a short drive away from the airport, this apartment couldn’t have been better for our family. We were welcomed by Antonio, a very kind gentleman who gave us very good information. Uber is the best option for transportation if you’re not driving here.
The apartment was immaculately clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Nice pool. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Boat excursions available from the nearby marina.
Staff were so friendly and helpful.
The hotel was very nicely done and a lovely place to stay.
The roof top pool is quite small but was never too busy and was the perfect place to relax with the snack/drinks bar right there.
We expected the location (Olhao) to be a quiet fishing village with nothing to do, but actually there were a fair number of restaurants, bars and shops.
Breakfast was good with enough for two people, but considering the price of accommodation, we expected to have a buffet breakfast, as was the case in some other hotels in that region with the same price range. Also, the orange juice was natural and incredibly delicious :). The room was clean and big enough. The pool was good but not usable due to the weather conditions.
The best and healthiest breakfast i've ever had in a hotel!! And made with lots of effort and love! Even put breakfast out for us at 6 o'clock in the morning although breakfast usually gets served after 8 o'clock.
The owner was more than helpful - one can really feel like home and welcome!
I will come back and can highly recommand this hotel!
if the location isn’t perfect enough for you, the home itself is absolutely stunning. Seconds away from anything you could possibly need. The staff was incredible. It was literally like staying at a hotel without the hotel prices. I fell in love with this place!
A beautiful room in traditional Portuguese house with additional sitting and breakfast areas and two lovely terraces. Our only regret was only booking one night. We would definitely like to return to Olhao and would definitely stay at this accommodation again
Friendly and welcoming hosts. The traditional house is located in a beautiful small street. The room was clean and cozy. Best part of our stay: enjoying the tasty breakfast on the rooftop terrace with a wonderful view on the whole Olhão center.
Downtown hotel furnished with exquisite taste, nice breakfast, friendly staff, the best service I had in a hotel in a long time (you even find a nice herbal tea waiting for you in your room after diner).
Impeccable.Wonderful warm staff.Pool area a little gem and near to everything.Breakfast very good quality and mix.Rooms comfortable and very, very clean .A lovely boutique hotel well done!
It was the absolute best stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. Beautiful hotel, feels like a luxurious home, wonderful host Marìa, and very high end clean facilities.
First time in Olhao & delighted with the choice of hotel, modern, smart facilities & lovely pool area close to bus & train stations & a 15 minute stroll to the waterfront !
the place is comfortable - the best thing about the property is the host Cristina -she is the perfect host : welcoming caring -great communication — helpful
Everything was amazing, the food, the room, the customer service! Jaoa is the BEST! I adore him! He took such good care of me! I cannot wait to go back!
Staff at the hotel were very nice. Our apartment was conveniently close to the hotel and to the main strip for restaurants. Beautiful view of the marina.
