Great place for two couples. Fantastic view. Excellent and very welcoming host.
Before arrival, our key concern was if internet will be sufficient to do work video calls and it was all fine and worked very well.
very nice hostel, the single/double rooms are actually hotel-like rooms. Very clean and quiet, beautiful view.
The hostel is not in the "center" of Calheta , but it has a big supermarket very close, a restaurant, and also a beautiful natural pool in a walking distance ( 10-15 mins) .
The port is about 20 min walk so if you have heavy luggage better take a taxi. There is a steep climb to do, albeit short. I can recommend to young / fit people, after all it is an hostel
A unique and stunning location, isolated from the rest of the Island. For this reason you have to make a short and pleasant walk to reach the Hotel, left your car in the parking. Rooms are very clean and tidy, with excellent viewof the Ocean and Pico Island. breakfast is very good and healthy, expressly made. the owner, Cristina, and hotel manager, Silvia, are very kind and ready to help in anything. we hardly recommand this place,
Very clean hotel and super comfortable. It’s a 2 stars just because it’s not new neither modern, but the cleanliness and facilities have nothing to envy to a 4 stars hotel.
The staff is nice and helpful.
Especially the day we checked out they were super helpful with us being all wet after getting rain while driving the scooter !
The breakfast is simple but complete and the food is good.
Would definitely recommend
The property is absolutely stunning! it’s beautiful with crashing waves on one side, beautiful trails on the other side. A twenty min walk takes one to town and the only coffee plantation in Europe with fresh and tasty espresso. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. it contains wonderfully thoughtful details of a tea garden, lawn chairs, glorious views, and benches to sit and relax or read.
