Neidin is the Irish word for Kenmare and translates to Little Nest. A Little Nest is exactly what was envisaged in 1790 when The Lansdowne first opened its door.

Wonderful staff, esp the lady on the front desk who drove us into town to our restaurant. Beautiful decor, comfortable, spacious room. Great breakfast, plenty of fresh & stewed fruit, cereals, pastries and good selection of cooked items.

The breakfast was incredible - smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. My wife had the traditional breakfast which was also very tasty - I loved the sausages. The hospitality was amazing and Hannah, the hostess was so pleasant and also told us where the oldest pub in town was so we could have a quick pint. Just amazing!

I traveled around Ireland for two weeks and stayed in several cities. Kenmare was one of my favorites for shopping, access to music, scenery and the BEST lodging and restaurant at Brooklane. Highly recommend both!

We had a fabulous dinner at The Coachman's pub, sitting outside on a pleasant October evening but there are many other dining options too.

Kenmare was a lovely town and the alternative B & B we found was friendly and welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast. We stayed at Davitts for the second two nights and ate there and it was great.
I stayed in rooms above pubs the entire week I traveled in Ireland, and this was by far the best.
The room was large and comfortable, and had several features typical to American hotel rooms - desk, ironing board, safe, washcloths. The bath products smelled wonderful. The decor was interesting and up-to-date.
The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options, including fruit and veg, and great coffee.
The location is right in the middle of town, and Kenmare is an excellent base for exploring the Ring of Kerry.
There was lots of room, we could not hear our neighbours in the place right next to us, and could only hear everyone visiting outside when the windows were open, but even that didn't go on late at all. Very close to Kenmare, an easy drive if you needed anything. Nice to run to town to do some sightseeing and then a quick drive home when you were done or needed a break. You could walk to town, but we weren't that ambitious. I would stay here again if I get the chance to go back.
This apartment is a gem in Kenmare with phenomenal views of the Kenmare Bay. The place is cosy, quiet and only a 10 minute drive to Kenmare town. The apartment was handed tidy and stocked up with everything that we needed to live there for a week. Geraldine has been a super host , extremely easy to communicate with and she's always around if you need anything. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here and I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a getaway in Kenmare.
Exceptional B&B. The owners are so nice and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. They even have a parking area for their guests. It is just a few minutes away by car or taxi from the town of Kenmare and it is a super convenient location for an early start on the Ring of Kerry and/or Killarney National Park. Our included breakfast was outstanding and exceeded expectations! Everything was beautiful and I would highly recommend!!
Great value! What a gem. I, like a bonehead, had left my passport and money at the hotel. Mary, the owner, aka the queen of Kenmare, went out of her way to make sure she tracked me down and got me back my passport and money! Unbelievable! Great experience, great stay and great people.
Breakfast was delicious. Lots of options and yummy stuff. Staff friendly, accommodated all our needs.
The room was extremely clean and the bed comfy.
Location is great - a five minute nice walk into the town centre and lots of food options there.
Hotel has a bar and restaurant.
Really comfortable hotel just 5 mins walk from the town centre via a footpath that avoids the main road - ask at reception as it isn’t obvious. Excellent breakfast choices. In addition to the buffet you can order from the menu for delicious freshly cooked breakfast items.
Wonderful hostess!! Great breakfast. Loved the location (quiet) but still close to town. Kenmare is a great small town with enough eateries to satisfy us for 4 nights. Room had a desk plus 2 easy chairs with a small round table between them. Nice views from windows.
Loved the sweeping views without another house in sight, yet so close to the vibrant town of Kenmare. Great space for shared activities and wished I had my yoga mat as the large glass doors and spacious living areas would make an excellent meditation space.
Fantastic hosting by Margaret she couldn't do enough for us. Slept in the biggest bed I've ever seen, had a great continental breakfast and the town of Kenmare was very vibrant. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is right in the middle of the town centre with a great street vibe, the staff were great, the evening entertainment was fantastic and the breakfast was very good, we would highly recommend a visit.
Right in the centre of town, so location is perfect. Room was very clean and at the back of the premises. We were lucky and got an on street park right outside the hotel.
The location is good. A 5 minute walk to town centre. I found the young employees the friendliest ie Adam who cleaned my hotel room had wonderful customer service skills.
Great location for touring the Ring of Kerry and very close to Kenmare which is a nice town without the crowds of Killarney. Patricia makes an incredible breakfast.
Nice clean modern hotel in the town centre, could do with an area for lunch that’s not sweet and a proper bar but all in all lovely stay and we’ll be back
