Great location very close to centre of Portofino, yet very quiet to get a good night's sleep!
The hosts gave us very clear instructions to access the property, which was very clean and welcoming.
The apartment has a beautiful large balcony and a good sized living room and kitchen, which we didn't end up using because of the number of lovely restaurants and cafes in the town centre. Overall, we very much enjoyed the stay, highly recommend!

Portofino was beautiful and lived up to expectations.
Portofino was beautiful and lived up to expectations. However, it is tiny and the weather was not great which limits what there is to do. Two nights rather than three would have been enough.
Also it really is expensive. Not a place to go if you are on a budget.
My husband and son had brilliant food - particularly DaV Mere - but they love fish and seafood. Not great for vegetarians.

We enjoyed walking and getting around but Portofino is really small so don't spend more than one night there. I was expecting more people to be around but it was really empty after the sunset. People come in boats to know the harbour but they don't stay around after so it's very quiet (at least in April when I went). There aren't that many options for good food but the restaurant "Trattoria Tripoli" was a highlight of our stay in Portofino. Probably the best Frutti di mare spaghetti I have had in my life!

Portofino had been on the bucket list for some time so the expectations were high.... and so they were met ! A very very nice little village on the cost with all typical medditerrainian stuf. 1 day should be enough to cover it as a small place. Can recommend to travel here off season as no crowds and safe to move around. The Restaurants might seem a bit expencive but then they are good !

Portofino might have been a lovely place in the 60s - today it is a poor cartoon of a fisherman's village. Ridiculously overpriced (2 spritz + 0.5l water 33€) but still overcrowded. Seems there are a lot of people, that hope some of the yacht owners wealth will be shared with them if they get close...

Portofino is a hipe and we wanted to go there once, but unless COVID it was too much overcrowded.
It is a very small village around a harbour. Lovely with a lot of high fashion boutiques and restaurants along the harbor.
During July 2020 a lot of shops were closed but most restaurants were open - although only the once with the best rating on google and tripadviser were full, so we were glad to have a reservation.
the light at sunset is beautiful too - but if it does not have to be Portofino - there are other small beautiful fisher villages which are not so famous and expensive.
Carlotta was a superb host who did everything she could to make our stay memorable despite very variable weather. On one of our rides back from Portofino we were thrilled to see a herd of wild boar in the adjacent woodland. Our room was cosy and clean with a great view . The terraces and gardens of the property were delightful, and we really enjoyed the walk from there to Santa Margherita. Breakfast was out on the terrace and was very good- tasty local produce.
This apartment was ideally located, only a short walk from the centre of Portofino, in a nice quiet location. The owners could not have been more helpful, and were always on hand to answer questions or provide recommendations. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and great shower. There was everything you could ever need in an apartment. And the air conditioning was really good. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
The breakfast was first class. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant on the terrace was very good.
There was a private terrace for hotel guests above the public beach area across the road. Good for swimming or sunning and a drink!
The five minute walk to the main Portofino marina area was surrounded by greenery and very enjoyable.
The location is fantastic if you want to be in the middle of all the happens in Portofino. Lively, daily happenings on street below makes for a fun (not quiet), authentic experience of Portofino. Close to many walks and hike as well. Great deli/wine store below Apt run by Nicola with ‘normal’ prices for beer, water, meats, cheese, vegetables.
The location of Casetta di Portofino is excellent, right above the shops. The furnishings are modern, and the airconditioning works perfectly. The design is very efficient, you have everthing you need at your disposal. Internet (wifi) worked great and easy to connect, and plenty of EU plugs to charge devices, etc.
Together with my husband we stayed here. We were upgraded to the junior suite which had breathtaking view. The hotel is very clean , suite was spacious, beautiful landscaping, wonderful pool, and last but not least very friendly staff! No other accomodation tops up to this property in Portofino.
The Nature around ,the beach just few minutes walking at the end of the road, the tranquillity , lovely friendly staff, very nice healthy home made breakfast

Lovely and cosy apartment right in the centre of Portofino. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities available for a comfortable stay.
