I really enjoyed my stay at The Cabot Lodge. My room was cute and very clean, and I thought the free snacks and complementary beverages were a really nice touch. The staff was great - Liv at reception was really helpful at the onset, answered all my questions, then texted later on with an update and some additional info. A+ customer service!

Booking.com sent me an e mail with a hot link for welcome@cabotlodge.com seeking my e mail, tel etc so as to send joining instructions. I responded with relevant info but that e mail did NOT go directly to welcome@cabotlodge.com. It went to booking.com who replied with an inaccurate response. You must ask customers to "stick and paste" the e mail address into a new document. That worked. As a result I had some issues of entry on late arrival. They were resolved in a very helpful way but it could have been otherwise. You need to advise customers re "flexipasses" in advance.

Breakfast was not provided but several breakfast facilities were just around the corner - <2 mins walk. But coffee/tea/water etc was available on the premises 24:7. Rooms comfortable, clean, bathrooms good, rooms quirky in a really lovely way.. Hosts extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful. Very convenient location in Beverley.

Rooms are very small. With more then one suitcase you need to juggle a bit.

In the dead center of Beverly. Coffee shops, restaurants, bars all near by. The perfect place if you want a place to stay before/after a Cabot show.

Perfect location for a quick visit for a concert at the Cabot Theater, one block away. It was nice to be able to park the car in the convenient public lot behind the hotel and then walk to everything we needed. We found a great dinner before the show and a wonderful Parisian crepes shop for breakfast, all within a block of the hotel. The hotel space is very charming, albeit very small. Our "micro-room" was perfect for us, as we didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping. The bed is very comfortable and the design of the small room was very well thought out - storage under the bed, built in shelves and a place to store the luggage. Bathroom was very nicely designed and equipped. While we didn't use the loft sleeping area, it would have been great when I was 10 years old! Even though we had the room that directly opened onto the public sitting area with coffee, etc, we didn't hear a thing. Having the white noise machine and the two levels of shutters really helped provide privacy for a room that otherwise opened directly onto a side street. No complaints at all!

The only minor criticism is that the walls are quite thin - I heard some noise in the morning.

The loft bed was a bit challenging for me and it wasn’t the best sound proofing.

Very clean, location was perfect for travel to Salem. Easy to get into Lodge and into room. Parking is behind building (city parking) , it was a large lot with 2 other large lots across from the lodge-no stress on where to park! Very close to all outside stores and restaurants!

Loft ladder was uncomfortable to climb without shoes. Wish the bathroom either had a solid door, or that the top of the doors were not transparent.

Loved that we could check in ourselves with the app. The room was gorgeous, and even though the room was small the layout was done well.

Size of the room is real small and the door to the bath didn't offer the best privacy for the space involved.

So this was the first time I stayed in a place where they send the pass to enter through your phone, so I cannot really speak on staff because I did not I tract with anyone. But the place is great. Location good especially if you wanted to do Salem in October. Really clean. Modern amenities. It's really just a place to sleep at night. If you're looking for work space or live out of there for a week, you might have difficulty.

I don't know anything about the loft bed because I couldn't climb up there. Fortunately that was still just fine because I didn't need it. I'm sure staff will help out if you need it..

I miss a little table in my room, but no problem was just for 1 night.

It is very cozy, and it is so convenient with everything that I needed. I had a best night asleep ever. Never sleep well because it’s always very noise for me. But on my stay at the lodge was fantastic.

I wasn’t expecting the rooms to be so small. Hardly room to open suitcase and turn around. The refrigerator is one small one that everyone who is lodging there shares. I found that weird and wasn’t open to putting personal food with strangers. Strict quiet hours which I had to prep my children for. It was a blessing that we were a late arrival or my kids would have really had a tough time being quiet in tight quarters.

Staff had excellent communication so I’d know what to expect to get access to our rooms. I was glad to have that because nobody was present on site when we arrived at 8pm. Very clean and bed was comfortable. My kids loved the bunk area (bed for 1…one child stayed in the king bed with me).

This place was a hidden gem!!! You don’t always know what you’re booking when you’re only looking at pictures online. This place was impeccably decorated and clean. The attention to detail was amazing, not to mention all the amenities they offered.

There was no free parking. Also, there was no ice machine.

Once we figured out the wireless key to get in our room everything was nice. The layout was a little peculiar, but we did get a handicapped accessible room. It is really convenient to the downtown bars and theatre.

Nothing - everything was great.

We arrived very late at night and check in was a breeze with a bluetooth key. Parking was plentiful off to the side of the hotel. Good location with an excellent creperie nearby along with a few coffee shops. Very clean; great place to stay for a night.
