How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It is a very cozy place with a very welcoming host. We had a room with a view to the channel right from our window and big nice bed on the second floor of the room. For the services of guests are kitchen with all the nessesary things, cozy and stylied with care lounge and terrase. Hotel situated in the area from which you can arrive fast and easy to the center. Supermarket is in 5 min walking distance. We had a very good time. Thank you!

The bed is built over the room, if you have mobility issues you need to check with the host. I actually liked it and it was comfortable but my partner was not so keen.
Wonderful host with parking. Tram stop within a couple of minutes so easy to get into the city. Local restaurants within easy walk and very quiet.

I had very pleasant experience with Marble Inn. Great location which is not far from Central Station that can be reached by tram. Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and spacious. Every morning a good breakfast was served. André - the owner - is a really nice and helpful guy. For example, he scanned and printed out some documents which I urgently needed. Thank you!

There is nothing not to like
Great location... No noise, just 17 minute tram ride to Central Station, great place to go for long walks or bicycle rides. Andre is a super host who caters to your every whim but let's you get on with your own stuff.

It is necessary a space for luggage and clothes, maybe a small wardrobe but I think that it isn"t enough space to put there.
Everything was ok, the breakfast very good, the host Andre very kind, the bed comfortable. Very good location, you can get to the center in 15 minutes with tram 26 whose stop is very close.

Nothing at all, everything was beyond our expectations.
André is a superb host, really nice, always open to a chat and with good info on any doubt you have. Bedroom was ample, bed was super comfy. Bathroom was also very comfortable to use, big, and spacious. Every morning we had a great breakfast ready. We are already looking forward for another trip to Amsterdam and staying again at Marbles In. Can't recommend enough!!!

The bathroom had sliding door but everything else inside was great.
The host was great, available for all questions. The breakfast was great. The room was small but had everything that was needed. I would return back definetly. Tram stations are 3 minutes away and I 15 minutes you can arrive to the city center.

Great location, amazing breakfast, wonderful host. The place is only 20 mins away by tram, and the stop is a minute away. Downtown is too crowded and loud, this area is calmer, cleaner and also has some hidden gems. There is a beach nearby and some excellent restaurants. Andre was an excellent host.

Andre is a very nice host. Great and pleasant person to talk to. The location of the inn is not in the city center but only 15 min with a tram (#26) from the central station. And the tram stops 3 min from the place. So location is 9 out of 10. Breakfast was splendid, Andre takes good care of his guests. The room is quite small but enough for two people to sleep over, you can chill in the shared living room, so the size of the room is not an issue. Be prepared to claim some stairs to get to your bed, because it is close to the ceiling. The bathroom is clean and well set up.
