The room was very small - smaller than i anticipated having not stayed at a Citizen M hotel before, but saying that the bed was comfortable and the hotel lounge made up for it.

The staff were really helpful and welcoming and the hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere. I especially liked the lounge with the choice of sofas and chairs and appreciated the mix of artwork.

The room is very small. Beware that other hotels in this chain have beds that bump into the walls so you can't let your feet hang off the end. But this hotel doesn't have that problem.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and I had the best sleep ever! The rooms are small but so clean and the temperature/lighting/media controls are amazing. Perfect for a solo traveller when you just need a retreat away from your busy city visit.

Comfortable, clean, modern rooms. Rooms size is smaller than average but description and photos are accurate. Very comfortable bed and good shower pressure. My room was facing the back and was very quiet with a nice view (top floor).

Compact room but can’t complain as perfect for a short city break.

Modern, compact hotel room. Big comfortable 6ft bed (access from end of bed). Great big shower. Very clean and quiet hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Didn’t have breakfast. Fabulous bakery next door for breakfast. About 20/25 mins walk to centre of Amsterdam. Nice area of city. Perfect hotel and location. Would return.

Would be nice to have some sort of light switch for the bathroom separate to all other lights but over nothing negative to say.

Excellent location well served by public transport -metro and tram right outside of the hotel. Bed is very comfortable and the tablet to control lights etc is very innovative- very impressed. Very quiet also which I loved. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful!

The only issue is location... about 25 minute walk from the center. We did not mind. You can take the metro that is 1 minute walk from the hotel.

A great experience! Very good and new hotel with very nice lobby with free fruits, water and soda. Great place to sit and relax. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Amazing, welcoming and fiendly staff. There is even a very nice bakery next door. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed are stay at the citizenM. Exceptional staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out and the hotel is cashless. Tasty breakfast worth the money. We just wish our room was a bit bigger. It was small so it was difficult to maneuver even with our carry-on suitcases. The lobby and dinning area are uniquely decorated. There is a living room space where you can relax, have a drink and work. Would stay at citizenM again but would definitely get my own room if traveling with a friend.

We loved the lobby area...the services were very convenient. We arrived late and appreciated the kitchen/bar being open. The food was delicious! The proximity of the hotel was also a bonus...very convenient to public transportation.
