The carpets especially in the toilet and common area are quite dirty

The location of the place is convenient. Just less than 5 mins from the station and the view is nice. It is near tesco as well and bus station. The staff is nice as well and he answered all my phone calls when I had questions.

There was no mirror within our bedroom. The chair in our bedroom was broken. The curtains were way too short on one of our windows. There is only one locker. The toilet and shower are across the hall so these rooms are not ensuite.

I liked the location for travel connections. It was very close to a tesco. 2 mins from the DLR rail station and 6 minutes from the Jubilee line tube. The hot water in the shower was great.

It did not really look like the advertised property. The wardrobe doors were broken, the shower doors were stiff to use, the skirting boards were dirty and it really is a 2 star hotel. The best thing was the staff and the location.

It was very odd unlike a Hotel it was an apartment with individual locks on bedrooms and these weren't great. The bathroom had holes in walls and was just general very gruby they are shared as is the kitchen.

Bathroom was not the cleanest, but it was fine. Location was not the best, 17 minutes walk to the metro and from there it was fast to the city centre, but be aware of that :)

Checking in was very confusing and stressful. There is no reception and when we rang the doorbell multiple times no one answered to let us in to the building. We had to call the mobile number listed on the website and wait 10 minutes for someone to come and let us in.

The location was good, the room was comfortable enough for a one night stay.

It was not very clean the curtains had stains on them. The wall needed painting lots of makes on them. I had to ask for wall Mirror. Too be far when I came back in the evening their was one on the wall. As there was screws on the wall, it look it was taken and put back up very strange.

Check in process needs work, as I arrived to confront a locked door and no one answering the buzzer. I ended up having to call the owner on a mobile phone, and he then walked over to provide access. Also, one of the windows on my room was broken and didn't shut, which was noisy in the morning. Hopefully they fix it before winter arrives.

Good location and reasonable value for money in central London. Property was reasonably clean and tidy, and the other tenants were quiet. Two good sized bathrooms meant that there were never issues having to queue for access.

This property is not a hotel and should not be advertised as such (either on booking.com or google maps) in order to set proper expectations. What you are renting is a room in a shared apartment with other guests (not the owner's residence, I'm not sure it's even legal to do this). In our apartment there were 2 shared bathrooms, a shared kitchen with full facilities and a living room with a balcony. I think it should be clearly stated that these facilities are to be shared with other guests. When we arrived there were no signs or even a name over the door and the lady who met us (the cleaner I think) seemed surprised to find incoming guests outside looking for the entrance. Then when we entered the property there were other people inside which came as a bit of a shock. However once we got used to the idea it was actually an ok experience and we had everything we needed.

The room and bathroom were mostly clean (apart from some stains on the curtains and walls) and in good condition. The location is perfect, about 2 mins walk to the nearest DLR station and about 30 mins into the centre of London. The area is also quiet at night.

it was advertised as a hotel, and was more like 2 apartments with locks on each door, we had most of the rooms but one room was booked out to another couple which made some of us feel uncomfortable.

the check in was difficult, as the person letting us in didn’t speak English, well very little so had to put me on to a phone to communicate with the owner I think.

Even at the more reasonable price, it didn’t feel well kept, the long term tenant was loud, the room was bare and uncomfortable. The lock on the door to the room and bathroom did not feel secure, as a solo female traveler it did not feel safe. When I entered the building it smelt heavily of gas which I mentioned to the proprietor but he did not respond. Would have have wanted to stay a second night.

The location was good. The price was the most reasonable I could find in the area. I’m very thankful I read others’ reviews ahead of visiting otherwise the pictures/description/name would have been even more misleading.
