Well explained self-service, but I met the owner and we had I nice chat. 2 nice cats in the garden were quite curious and the first thing I saw when opening the door of the terrace was a squirrel looking at me. Everything has been clean and nicely decorated. I would book it again for a trip to London / Camden.

My only issue was the bathroom door, it didn’t close properly unless you really forced it and then it was really hard to get open again, it was completely stuck unless you yanked it, but that’s an easy fix and it doesn’t put me off staying again

Location was fabulous and so close to Camden Town, the house was lovely had really nice character, it was very clean and I felt safe as a solo female. I didn’t meet any of the staff/owners but the people I spoke to via the booking.com were super helpful and nice. I love the cats at the property. I have 3 black cats myself so it was so nice to be greeted by them morning and evening, there were lots of cuddles.

Very little. Possibly the air temperature was quite cold at times and we saw no way of putting just a little heating on. This was also due to one day of very heavy rain

The house has great character and is exceptionally convenient. The bus access is superb to all places of interest in the area. The owners and their assistants were extremely accommodating and friendly

A towel rail in the bedroom would have been a really handy addition with the shared bathroom. The shared bathroom wasn't immediately clear when I booked, this is the fault of the way booking.com displays the info and not down to the owner, they made this very clear in their comunications which were great.

So many things I loved about our stay here. The little bits of attention to detail were really appreciated and made our stay. The candles and lights in the garden at night, the flowers in the room, the shower gel and shampoo in the shower. The room is clean and really well equiped, we drink milk but appreciated the oat milk sachets too, the table and chairs, the size of the room which was spacious and airy. The owers are doing a great job and the communications were brilliant. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

The shared bathroom was undergoing renovation which in itself didn't bother me but the door wouldn't shut properly to allow it to be locked; I didn't take any towels and there weren't any in the room.

Quirky, clean and very cute! my room has a a small private outdoor area with a table and chair and it was a lovely addition. As a lone female on that trip, I felt very safe and everything was really clean and comfortable. The bathroom was shared but I honestly didn't mind, it was so clean with little touches and a good shower! It was really good value for money, especially regarding the location. To top it off there were 2 very cute cats!

The bathroom sink has two separate faucets for hot and cold water, not close to each other, so you can't really get warm water. Also, the bathtub was kind of high to get into - not an issue for me but may be for others - and the glass siding or doors would have been nice to have along the entire length of the tub so as not to make so much of a mess. My room was a little chilly but the comforter kept me plenty warm in bed.

The location was great with a bus stop literally outside of the door. It was so close to the tube also and lots of eating and shopping establishments within walking distance. The room was so cute and the bed was super comfy. I loved having the tea kettle there with instant coffee, teas, and cookies - it was a great way to get going in the morning before heading out. My room had a window facing the garden which was lovely and although the street was pretty busy it wasn't loud enough for it to stop me from sleeping but I think it may be a problem for some. I loved the cats on the property too; reminded me of mine back home. Oliver was a great host.

Early check in (12 pm instead of 3 pm) is possible, but only for an extra charge. There is also no possibility to store your luggage after check out - if, for example, you have a late flight and want to explore the city in the afternoon.

Nice, quiet and clean room. Not to far away from the city (zone 2) with a bus station right outside. A good 10 minute walk to the next tube station. Communication with the host was good. And the code system to enter the house and the room worked without a problem.

Worth noting that the house is old, the decor isn’t immaculate, and the gardens have been mostly left to do their thing. But this just adds to the character in my opinion and personally I really liked it. The only criticism I have from my stay was that the basin in the shared bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should have been, though the rest of the room was fine.

As soon as you enter through the gate you are in a gorgeous leafy secret garden. The cats were great hosts, especially when they greet you on your return in the evening. The single basement room was basic but spotlessly clean. It had good quality bedding (great pillows) , a generous selection of teas, coffees etc, and access to a small terrace with table and chair. I really liked the whole vibe of the place. Key access was very straightforward and practical, it felt safe, and although there was a shared bathroom I didn’t meet anyone else using it. The bathroom is right next to the room so you don’t have to wander down a long corridor to get to it. This room is at the back of the house so you don’t get the noise from the main road. It’s very peaceful.

Nothing in particular but only one I bathroom to share among try three rooms was a bit difficult in the morning. (Just go yo toilet quickly or wash hands or take water got. Kettle) It would be helpful to heave a small fridge in the room , if possible..

Good location for Camden - I was going to a concert and this place was an easy walk afterwards. Room and shared bathroom were basic but ok. Check-in instructions were clear.

Have stayed at the property several times before - it's just a great base for exploring Camden and the area around it. The property is secure (front gate from the street has a keypad on it) and the fact that you let yourself into the property (room/front door key is left in a box outside with a combination lock) makes 'checking in' really easy. The rooms are basic but contain everything you need for your stay. The rooms aren't en suite, but, for the price, that's a minor issue. Love the cats that wander about the property, too!

The room itself needs some repairs. It looks like at some point the door has been forced and the frame is damaged around the lock. The ceiling had damage and a piece of paper placed over it to cover rather than repair it. The bed was fine, but the mattress moves very easily from the base which is just a. Big box. I woke up several times and had to readjust the mattress as it was hanging out over the base as I tossed and turned in night.

Good location, excellent value for London. Steps to get keys were simple and intuitive. Bathroom was well appointed and clean. The selection of teas, biscuits, water, slippers and towels in the room were an unexpected bonus.
