When we arrived the women on the desk told us that we wasn’t able to pay with cash and we didn’t have our card on us just Apple Pay so we had to get someone to come to pay it and then when they arrived another lady was able to take cash which we found strange but just left it as we wanted to enjoy the stay. Then we didn’t have anything robes or slippers for the spa so went and asked reception and the lady just told me they didn’t have none to give me. Also, we went to get changed into our swimming costume and the changing room wasn’t available so had to go back to the room and put the swimming costume under my clothes and take them off around the pool.

I liked the room and the location, and the pool etc was so relaxing.

Not so much didn't like but wish it could have been better, but for myself and my partner, the mattress was a little too firm for us. Also tried to use the chrome cast on the TV in the bedroom to watch Netflix in the evening and the connection wasn't very good despite using the hotels WiFi it kept clitching.

Location! The location of the Hilton is great. My partner and I were there as my partner participated in the Hyrox events around the corner at the convention centre, and it took us maybe 5 minutes to get there, we also ventured out for food and drinks which where all within walking distance.

Only situation I was unhappy with was I paid nearly £200 for one night and we didn’t get breakfast including or dressing gowns and slippers in our room

Our room was fine but also booked a room for my parents. Their room didn't have any tea or coffee and when they turned on the TV it said it needed maintenance but couldn't get anyone to fix it. The staff were very accommodating though and moved them to a different room straight away, but this also didn't have any tea or coffee. If you want to go to the rooftop bar book in advance.

The room had a lovely view of the city. Nice big bed and TV. Bathroom was lovely. Great location, plenty of restaurants/bars 5/10 minute walk away and Victoria only 15 minutes walk for shopping. Staff very helpful.

I asked the waiter if a meal contained nutt, as I am allergic and he took it as though I had placed an order. I had to decline because I wasn’t sure and then left feeling awkward about the situation.

The view from my 1811 was amazing, the bed was extremely comfortable.

Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows very flat once head was on them. Tiles in the bathroom were absolutely disgusting they need a good clean with some bleach. It really lets the hotel down. Looks dated with how dirty they are.

Location was in a very good spot, fantastic views. Room we was upgraded to a king, to be honest couldn’t really tell it was an upgrade, nice touch in the room for a free drink for my husbands birthday.

The whole point of our stay was to celebrate 25th anniversary. We wanted to go to the cloud 23 bar for cocktails. No one told us you had to book so when we went up for cocktails at 8 we was told they couldn't accommodate us. I would of thought being a resident at the hotel would mean we would be able to go in without any problems. Looking online I was led to believe that was for food and we only wanted a drink up there to celebrate our anniversary. The kind gentleman on the door told us to go away and come back about 10 pm and he would try and fit us in. We ended up going away and coming back for 10 . We got a table and order cocktails. Cocktails took 25 mins to come and then we was told we had to vacate the table by 11. It was just a joke totally spoiled was supposed to be a nice stay.

The staff was not helpful at all and didn’t make us feel welcome they was a scotch lady at the front desk she was so rude and made us feel extremely uncomfortable , the male who took our bags to our room was super helpful and couldn’t do enough for us , there was a lady who wasn’t even staying in the hotel bothering us in the lobby and the security didn’t help what so ever or take her away they laughed and claimed they knew this lady made us feel very uncomfortable also.

The fire alarm at about 5 am the one morning.But ! Once checked no fire & all was sorted and we were back in hotel

Room needed an update, chipped doors, dripping bath tap, marks under glass top of dressing table, bobbled carpet. Bar staff at cloud 23 excellent, waiting on staff slow and not personable Lady on front desk welcoming but not personable, talked to fast. No communication after the stay regarding my credit card being charged 3 times for the stay!

When we were coming back in on the Saturday night there was a man on the door, he was very rude he asked if we were staying here and looked me and my boyfriend up and down as we were both wearing tracksuits. He looked at us as if to say what are you two doing staying here.

We’ve stayed a couple of times before and it is lovely, the facilities are great and the staff are normally always very helpful and pleasant.

Facilities for drinks in the rooms could be better. Check in was hard work as we had the bookers name on the reservation despite it being his wife checking in, but the staff were great and sorted this out, so not a big gripe!

Typical Hilton hotel in the city centre. Pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. No frills - just straight down the line. Location is great with everything on the doorstep
