Many Narrow staircases and no lift but that can’t be helped with the building.

Welcome was exemplary - I was greeted like an old friend and made to feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. The room was spacious with high-ceilings, clean and the bathroom was great. Breakfast was lovely - homemade yogurt, fresh fruit salad, lovely fresh bread and pastries. I'd recommend highly and will be returning.

I did not like the design of the shower area. The toilet is too near the door, and thus not only doesn't have much space but a wall corner kept poking me in the side whenever I needed to use it.

Stairs weren't too steep, bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good, especially the range of breakfast items. The staff were very respectful and polite. The check-in and out process was reasonable and quick and overall I enjoyed my stay.

Nothing to note. My room was at the top of the house, so might not suit those that have accessibility needs but plenty of rooms on the lower floors so if you're ok with plenty of stairs there's nothing at all to worry about. I've stayed here before and it was just as lovely again.

Lovely comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, everything provided (iron, ironing board, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, hangers, plenty of towels,) lovely view of the square, close to the beach. Fantastic choices for breakfast, everyone catered for. Decor and upkeep just lovely. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Helpful too.

The shower cubicle was a bit cramped

The staff are amongst the happiest, nicest and friendliest I’ve encountered on my travels. The room was a reasonable size for the price, everything was spotlessly clean, and it had a nice balcony which overlooked a green and had a nice view of the 360 tower. The location is also excellent

Rooms on top floor are a long way up which didn't bother us but would require you to be reasonably fit.

A charming converted Victorian Terrace home in an excellent location right on the Brighton Shore. Rooms are cute and comfortable- cozy bed and breakfast style hotel. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. And breakfast as well which was so nice!

Rust on the toilet brush let down the superb ensuite (looked recently decorated).

Super friendly staff, great quality continental breakfast and perfect location. The home made yoghurt and cake were a lovely touch, and the huge and comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep.

There was an issue with my room so I was offered a room on the lower ground floor instead. The room was spacious, but not much natural light and no view.

There was a reception, the room was nice and clean and they served breakfast. The location was perfect, very close to the beach and the lanes.

My room was on the very top floor. But was fine once up there and very comfortable room and bed. Slept well.

Have stayed here before for the Brighton Marathon. Reasonable priced and lovely accommodation. Carl on reception was so friendly and helpful. He even lent me a charger for my battery pack which I used for the weekend.

Parking - partly due to convenient location. Surrounding area is looking a big run down - building work going on so should be better in the future
