To much money for the level of the hotel

staff weren't so welcoming, I booked a room with a bathroom, yet only were offered a shared bathroom

Shared bathroom. But it was mentioned in the description. Bathroom is being cleaned very well though. I just prefer private bathrooms.

The staff was very friendly and understanding. Very helpful. Room was big enough and clean. It’s a nice area. It’s a well built hotel. It’s definitely safe.

Furniture could be better, there was some dust on part of the furniture, the entrance was a bit spooky, and the lobby looks out of service.

It was easygoing, quiet, really clean bathroom, the stuff helped us immediately when we asked for something, and it was one of the cheapest last-minute options. Also, the neighborhood is nice. Many hidden gems (small coffee shops and restaurants) around.

Although it was clean, the room and toilet were in average condition. It could use a little renovation. There are no bedside tables. The toilet bowl does not have a lid.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Peaceful and quiet part of the city. The room was clean.

The staff had a language barrier. They didnt speak English. We somehow made it. The first reception lady was angry and tense, IDK why. They made a deposit on cc and told me that it is just pre authorisation. But it is a sale on out side. Waiting for the deposit release.

The location of the place is good. You can even walk to Berlin DT on foot in 20 min.

Not for you if you don't like shared bathrooms. But we just wanted cheap and close to city so it was fine for us. I believe some of their rooms may have bathrooms, but the price is obviously higher.

A deposit of 150 euros, which was found out only after booking and paying for the room. He also stretched the time of departure from the hotel: we had to wait until the room was checked. High audibility between the rooms and the corridor. There is no kitchen or teapot and cups in the room.

Bed was a bit noisy. Deposit of 150€ required on cash at check-in. So if you are a smoker or do not look out the things in hotels, this could not be your fit (if you damage, your money will be lost).

Good location, very near to a U bahn. Old building with nice old furniture and decorations. Good price. Clean.

Cleints should be made aware of No CHECK IN AFTER 11 PM before booking , NOt after confirmation. I was arriving 1 pm, so no problem. Hotel wants to be called 20 min before getting to.hotel. with international phone rates, its nuisance. No microwave, no electric kettle. Was given one small and one bath towel for 3 days. Walls are very thin, everynight people next room argue till late and snored , not quiet. If hotel can fix above simple things can be 5 star excellent, for money.

Loved location. Only 5 min or less from U station. Overall clean. Hotel itself is in quiet nice neighborhood. Room's noise inside hotel is different story. Small room, but had 3 beds. For 3 people with luggage can be congested

The facilities were very basic and have seen better days. This hotel could easily get better rating if they had spent some money on new beds, furniture, blankets and pillows. I had the feeling that these things had not been prioritized. The bathroom was old, but this could have been turned into something really cool with some simple upgrades. Keep the antique and charming elements, and replace the things that the guests need to feel clean and comfortable. Anyway you Get What you pay for.

Inexpensive place to sleep close to the U-bahn. The building was charming. The hotel has soul.

The room smelled to smoke all days, so we had to air it before to sleep. I had to pay in cash for my pet (I would prefer to do it by card but was not allowed). The internet didn't worked.

Good location, close to a subway station, and I loved the balcony at the room and the space.

the walls of our room was recently painted when we got there, and we did not want to sleep with the windows totally open, so during night there was this painting smell. it may be a punctual situation.

It seems to be either not possible or (strongly) not recommended to check in after 11 pm, and there's a 15€ charge when checking in after 10 pm. That being said, we arrived at 10:45 pm or so and were received without any problem. It was difficult to open the window and the room could be a bit hot.

It's a calm neighborhood, but there are still some restaurants and the like. There were no problems with the deposit. Staff members are nice.

The facilities in the bathroom were worn (toilet & shower leaked). No shampoo or bath soap. 1 medium & 1 small towel per day. On ground floor window opened onto courtyard- next to bed when curtain was open!

The area was very pleasant and convenient. The building was old but had character. Accommodated a group of 9 people very well.
