I check the floor when i am leaving make sure i haven't dropped anything. Under the bed there was an inch of dust and rubbish. The toilet seat was a thin bit of cracked plastic. Even a $5 bunnings seat would be 100 x better. Paint peeling off walls. Condiments tea and coffee were dead. Been there that long they were rock hard and flat.

Sheets were clean. Bed felt new. Outside kept very nice. Dining are was nice.

Google maps directed me more to the back of the property (but was the actual st adress listed)that was quite poorly signed. Initially, I wondered if I was in the right place as the lighting was poor. Very well signed around the other side.

No staff...1 person to do check in, serve drinks and food. Only 1 person in the kitchen run off his feet. This appears to be the norm as we stated there 2 night's. Happy hour but a line of ppl trying to purchase a drink but no staff as the girl was off helping a guest who had locked himself out of his room. Great potential but not operated to it's potential

The restaurant was a disappointment as we were told the fish was fresh from the local fish market and it was just like frozen fish from the supermarket cooked (not very well - still hard inside) in a microwave.

This motel is set in an idyllic location with well tendered gardens and just a few steps to the beach. The rooms had been renovated so we had a brand-new bathroom, brand new air-conditioning a WIFI that worked; strangely there was no modem for the TV. The room itself was attractively decorated and the bed very comfortable. The surprise was the high-quality linen the towels were 5 star thick and fluffy; the bed linen was 100% cotton excellent for the tropics however one did notice they must have laundered in house. Other accommodation hosts should follow this. example

Bed was as hard as a rock. As a renovator myself, I found it strange the grout was smeared all over the tiles almost as if they had done it before. I arrived Not a professional look, and the shower water flows all over the small bathroom flaw so watch out for that. Yes, there is a drain but there is nothing to stop water going on the floor.

The people were nice. The room was very clean.

A few design issues in the room. We had a chat in the morning and they were open to suggestions. An option of a continental breakfast would be good as there is nothing available in Bramston Beach.

We were the 1st guests since reopening. They happily greated us after 10pm at night and showed us around. Only 1 room ready at this stage and restaurant not open yet but you can see their vision. Looking forward to coming back when they are finished and getting a tour of the premises and trying their chef cooked meals. This place is a hidden gem on the beach. Just 1/2 hour country drive from Innisfail and 1 hour from Cairns. Thankyou for providing us a place to stay.

There was nothing to fault- it was a like we found a hidden gem

The facilties were beautifully presented with alot of creativity from the dining area with night lights, candles and flowers on tables to the rooms attention to detail in the bathrooms, lovely artwork and cleanliness overall.

it was a motel not a resort as advertised. patches of peeling paint on the ceiling, patches on the wall behind the air conditioner, the ceiling fan did not work, the fridge was dirty and the freezer would not freeze the popper drinks we put in them, cockroaches, dirt on floors, broken outdoor furniture and damaged furniture in the room, the cupboard was old and peeling but had been painted over.

Most of the kitchen appliances did not work, mainly the microwave and kettle. There was no tap or sink in the kitchen area we had to use the bathroom one. The lady who greeted us was rude! And the beds were rock hard.

The beach was close by and we had some friendly neighbours beside us.

The reception was very unfriendly, just not pleasant and I would say actually pretty rude. Everything else would have been fine, but it was almost like being there was an imposition. just left a bad impression. Don't think I will ever book here again.

The location is lovely, accommodation is basic but adequate.

The room was not ready for people to stay in. TV was sitting on the back of a lounge. Blinds were dirty and broken. Cupboards were leaning. Power board sparked at us. The main light was flickering. When I sent an email, they denied everything and told us we should've asked for a refund on the spot and that the beds were new.

I can't say I didn't like anything because learning to love me and reagin my power has been the best gift ever.

The vibe and atmosphere was very welcoming, safe and relaxing. I was able to begin healing myself from my traumas and focus on my health. I have learnt my circumstances in the past do not define me and no longer suit me on my future journey and present state. I forgive those who have harmed me and my children for my own peace moving forward - they no longer control me or serve purpose in life.

No working TV no working Fridge. on booking was told there was a bistro.... it was closed at 5pm. Someone could have been there to let staff in, told us to "Go around the back" to get in as it was "unlocked" which is very unprofessional and weird. the team member staying here was scheduled to arrive between 4pm-5pm which he arrived at 5pm. When speaking to the lady the next day on the phone, she was rude and short saying it was our fault no one was there as check in was 2pm and if we arrived then, someone would be there.

beautiful spacey room for the price, newly renovated, new mattress and bedding. Pool looked amazing, couldn’t use it because of the weather but definitely would of if it was sunny!
