This apartment felt like home for the week; it was clean and comfortable, plenty of space for two people and with a very private terrace with a view of the sea. Our lovely host Anka could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and when we arrived we were given a great description of places to visit on the island. The location of the apartment is very convenient, just a few minutes walk down to the restaurants and shops, but far enough away for peace and privacy.
I would recommend this place to anyone; it was an absolute pleasure to stay here.
Also, the Wifi was excellent, there was plenty of hot water, and the kitchen is very well kitted-out for self-catering.

Very friendly hosts! They met us upon arrival to help us find the house and parking space. Hosts were at display for all our questions and needs. The appartment is qiute large and as a group of two couples and one single, we had each our own privacy. The terrace with exeptional wiev vas a great bonus.

Exceptional hotel, the attention to detail is world class from the point of reception through to departure. The dinning experience is made to make you feel like you are the only people that matter, using the finest of ingredients all served with great attention. The rooms are top end luxurious and only a very short walk to the lovely swimming pool with a tremendous view. We will be back.

A small village with everything you need. We went to beaches all over the island. The advantage of Sali is the nearby national park Telascica. There was also an exceptional restaurant in Sali called Garoful. I highly recommend a visit.Tomas_RCzech Republic - 10Scored 10
Sali is probably the best base to use on the island.
Sali is probably the best base to use on the island. It has a ferry to Zadar three times a day, loads (maybe 5 or 6) restaurants, a sizable supermarket and quite a few cafe's and taverns. It also has a helpful tourist office where you can rent cars or scooters, although these are not cheap. The only petrol station on the island is in the next village about 4kms away. Talascia NP is a 5 minute drive away from the town and well worth a day trip. All the beaches are shingle and aren't really beaches, just little coves. The very best is half way up the island and directly across on the opposite side of the island to Brbinj. Very difficult to find without google maps set to satellite mode which shows the actual concrete access road. A one hour drive will take you the full length of the island.WilliamIreland - 10Scored 10

Very nice, cozy place. We ate dinner couple of times in Cookhouse & Bar GAROFUL. It is nice place to have a meal with beautiful sea view. From Sali it is very easy to get to other part of the Long island, and to organize nice boat trip to Kornati national park and Telascica nature park. All in all, I was quite impressed with Sali and Long island in general with all that beauty and big blue I saw around. It is worth of visiting at least once in your life time. Strongly recommended! :-)

We loved Sali!
We loved Sali! It is a quaint little town that has everything you need! The beach was one of the best ones on the island, rocky, with lots of trees that provide shade throughout the day and numerous little inlets that offer privacy from other beach visitors. Great for snorkeling and swimming. Sali also has a supermarket and several restaurants, a wonderful gelateria to have ice cream, and almost no traffic. It is the perfect place to relax, have long walks, swim or eat out. I highly recommend it.

Picturesque small harbour.
Picturesque small harbour. Good "Tommy" supermarket at the ferry jetty. Open 7:00 - 21:00. And 2 bakery shops plus some restaurants. Apart from summer you are locked up in the place, because there is no bus to the rest of this (long) island and renting a scooter costs you 48 € for one day low-season! Wifi hotspot around post office/library.

We spent a lot of time at the beach. The beach is just beautiful, although some people might have trouble entering the sea. There is a great beach bar nearby. We had dinner at Trapula and Marinov Magazin. Trapula was a little below our expectation when it comes to interior design but the food was great. Marinov Magazin blew us off. The view is amazing and the food is even better! I'm definitely coming back here!RozelinaCroatia

For two people we got a huge terrace, another small terrace in the garden, barbecue and a dinning table in the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom, air-conditioning, sound system, tv, and really everything you would need to relax and have a great time. Also host Mauro was really at our disposal about anything we needed or asked and I can really recommend this as the best apartment in Sali for two people.

It shares an alley with Konoba Trapula so it's sheltered from the afternoon sun and makes for a great DIY happy hour location. The restaurant is pretty low-key, so we had no issue with any noise at night. The host was super -- she & her husband even picked us up from the Zaglav ferry. Definitely recommend.

Short walk down to the tiny city center and anywhere else you might want to go in Sali. Communication with the host was quick and wonderful and she even picked us up at the bus stop from the ferry even though the house was a short walk from there.
