The lodge is located on a very nice and calm camping site in Cheddar. The owners are very friendly and you can see that they love what they are doing. It's a short walk to the center of Cheddar where you will find a very nice bakery, supermarket and butcher. We really enjoyed our stay in this lodge and with a huge cup of coffee we enjoyed our view from the terrace to the mendip mountains. :-)

The Shepherd’s Nest, que cuenta con vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con jardín y patio a unos 17 km de Ashton Court. This is such a quaint and beautiful, very different place to stay. We had such a laugh because it's so unique being able to bathe al fresco. That idea in itself was fabulous. We were very lucky with the weather and had some wonderful visitors (2 calves and their mums) even deer appeared in the background. To be honest, this is a memory we will not forget... because it's so different. The owners were lovely, we had everything we needed and little added luxurious to make our stay so good..it was so clean, lovely comfy bed, quiet and peaceful surroundings, we'll definitely go again..thanks so much.

We like the privacy of the lodge and the location for what we wanted was ideal for our visit. The lodge beds were super comfortable and it was well kitted out with everything we needed for a home from home break with kids. The local restaurants were lovely and we had a Chinese takeaway delivered to the car park. Great little break.
