Located in Melaka, Casugria Dutch Residence 1810 is a historic bed and breakfast that provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Really enjoyed the soundproofed Doors and windows made in Germany. My particular chalet was so silent i overslept and it was good for me as i had been struggling to sleep in the other hotels i stayed in around Malaysia. Upon enquiring i was told that the chalets at Casugria had been exstensively soundproofed to offer guests total rest and relaxation for a deep uninterrupted sleep. Speaking of which the guests who stayed at Casugria were also of the kind that did not make noise to disturb other guests in the common areas. It was as if the garden and pool were placid and picture perfect without the din of most other touristy accommodations. What was even more interesting is that the other like minded guests were genuinely courteous and friendly. This made my stay at Casugria less lonely as i managed to have genuinely wonderful and meaningful conversations with fellow guests from all around the world over Tea and Breakfast. Breakfast was freshly made and very satisfying. The hosts Sean & Natasha did everything possible to accommodate my requests and everything was done professionally. Both Sean and Natasha were discrete, courteous, kind and considerate. I highly recommend Casugria to guests who want a clean, safe, strategic, beautiful, friendly and discrete boutique accommodation as there are only 4 or 5 chalets on offer at any one time although the grounds of Casugria are sprawling and look as if it could accomodate more chalets.

Set in Melaka, 200 metres from Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum and 400 metres from Straits Chinese Jewelry Museum Malacca, The Pillohouzzze offers a terrace and air conditioning. The location is perfect and the landlady is suuuper nice and helpful. The facilities are clean and comfy. The wifi worked great! Big common space and kitchen. The ammount of shared bathrooms is enough and I never had to wait for it. At the beggining I got a room without a window but fortunately I could switch it to a different room.

Old Town Guest House is just 800 metres from the popular Jonker Street and 900 metres from Mahkota Parade. It offers rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi access. We and our kids really enjoyed our 2 nights stay due to the combination of the very clean, charming and quiet place with comfortable beds, nice & cool room and good breakfast and the great hospitality of Maria. The location was perfect and in walking distance to Jonker Street.

Mana Mana Hotel • Melaka • is situated in Melaka, 5.3 km from Melaka Straits Mosque and 700 metres from Christ Church Melaka. Josh, at reception, is simply amazing, always trying to help customers and giving interesting tips about the city when asked about it. The room is very nice and clean, not very big but enough to open the big luggage and rest comfortably. Private toilet is a big plus. At first I was a bit skeptical because the shower is in the middle of the long toilet and has no curtains. I was afraid that I would wash the entire room every time I showered. But incredibly the water only stayed in the centre of the room, where the draining valve was, and the rest remained dry. Also, the room has no window, BUT the toilet has a small window that opens toward the exterior of the building, so you can always have some air circulate. Position just behind Chinatown is also a very good plus.

Situated within 22 km of St John's Fort and 23 km of The Stadthuys, KSP Guest House features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Melaka. The room is clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Towels are provided. Toilet is huge and equipped with standard toiletries. The owner is very kind. Very near to mydin hypermarket, so easy for us to buy our needs and having dinner.

Its comfy, roomy, and clean living space. Good place to stay under one roof with large family and friends. Just outskirts their main attraction by driving. Fret not about no breakfast. It's all been provided by the host himself. Masyallah. The host, Mr. Luqman, is extremely welcoming and gracious. He waited patiently for our arrival after the allotted hour. Communication with the host is a breeze. I'm glad we took up this offer. 😌 I'm thrilled with it. Will return here without a doubt. We are grateful to Mr Luqman for helping us over our entire stay. Set in Melaka, near Baba & Nyonya Heritage Museum, Straits Chinese Jewelry Museum Malacca and Menara Taming Sari, The Opposite Place features a garden. The ecstatics of it. Really good place for people wanting to experience living in the original living space of a Malaccan. Loved the concept like it is a hidden hotel as it is being access via a bakery.

Location is very very good. Love the rooms. Kids loved the bunk beds! They requested to have the same ones in our home. Very clean. Air con is awesome. Host is very polite. Will return if have the chance.
