Park Hotel Argento, hotel in Levanto

Offering a free wellness center, and a panoramic terrace with large, outdoor hydromassage pool, Park Hotel Argento is 2625 feet from Levanto Train Station.

This is a beautiful little hotel with incredible views of the surrounding hills. It is a very short walk to the train station (5-7 minutes) which takes you to Monterosso and other Cinque Terre cities within, again, minutes. The staff is friendly and restaurant is delicious- especially the breakfast and seating on the terrace surrounded by roses. We loved it.

Hotel Nazionale, hotel in Levanto

Featuring free WiFi, The Hotel Nazionale is set in the heart of Levanto, close to the beach and the magnificent beauty of the Cinque Terre.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered something for everyone. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to use the hotel bikes for free and anytime we wanted. The bike path in Levanto along the coast was beautiful. The room was nice, but a little small for a family of three. (But who wants to stay inside when visiting the Cinque Terre?) The location of the hotel was excellent, close to everything. The train station was within 5 minutes walking distance. We would definitely come back!

Well connected station with great access to Cinque Terre. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, very pretty with the beach and the mountains, very relaxed feeling as not madly busy like some of the Cinque but still with plenty of things to do.

Beautiful city with so much old world charm, beautiful views, excellent restaurants (Osteria Tumelin Levanto was our favorite), bakeries, and coffee shops. Perfect location if you're visiting Cinque Terre - just a 5 minute train ride to the first of the towns but much less congested.

If you are walking the Cinque Terre, then Levanto is the ideal location. You get the train travel at a reduced price as you are just inside the region, the trains are quite regular and quick. Its handy if you want to go further up the coast to Portofino or down the coast to Pisa and beyond. Its a proper town, so has all the things you need (supermarket, pharmacies etc) unlike the actual Cinque Terre towns which are crowed with day tourists and mostly cater to their needs. We had a great stay here, lots of choice in restaurants would be more than happy to return if we had the time.

We chose Levanto because we wanted lodging to be in a relatively flat area but as close to the Cinque Terre cities as possible. The town itself is charming with lots of restaurant options. The people we met were friendly and helpful. Given the 5 cities of Cinque Terre, we allowed ourselves 5 nights and 4 full days - probably a day or 2 too long. It was easy to use the hop-on, hop-off boat and get a great view of the cities from the water. Travel to those cities by train was easy but crowded in mid September.

One word: Chiara! She was the best concierge I have ever dealt with in my 50+ years. She took the time to explain things we didn't even think of! She got us beach and dinner reservations but also pointed us to off the beaten path experiences. She upgraded us to a suite for no reason, which simply gave us more space to enjoy our trip! Excellent breakfast in a lovely dining room! Levanto is very walkable and has much to see and do. We parked the car and left it for three days and walked everywhere and took the train to Cinque Terre.

Staying here made our holiday in Cinque Terre! It was in a great location- 5 minute walk from the train and 15/20 minute walk to town centre. They provided us with a bike each which we used to get everywhere. Luca and his parents were so welcoming and hospitable for our whole stay- providing a lovely breakfast in the morning and recommendations for what to do while in Levanto and Cinque Terre. I would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay in this accommodation- it's homely and comfortable and they make you feel so welcome.

I cannot recommend Hotel Palazzo Vannoni enough. Alberto, Fabiana, and staff were beyond kind and more than eager to help. Their recommendations were 10/10 for how we might best enjoy our time in Levanto, where to eat and more, and were happy to book reservations for us as needed. Aside from the fantastic staff, we enjoyed the daily breakfast and the central location to points of interest. If you are fortunate enough to book a room at Palazzo Vannoni then you should absolutely take advantage of the graciousness of the staff.

Look no further; perfection!! This property is located up in the hills above the town of Levanto. Great location to relax and get away from the city center. Absolutely stunning views and ambiance! Steep driveway to property is not so bad and worth it! Excellent spacious apartment with full kitchen was perfect for our family with kids ages 8-14 years old. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic! Hands down the best place to stay if you have a car and the means to make it happen!!

Everything was just perfect! The couple whos running the BB is absolutely nice and friendly. They gave us very good advices and asked every day about our wellbeing. The location is awesome, 5 min walk to the beach and the ship to cinque terre. Levanto is the closest village to the cinque terre but its not that crowded. The room was lovely decorated and the breakfast was the best breakfast Ive ever had in all the BBs Ive tried in the years! I can absolutely recommend that BB!

The owners of B&B Vignola could not have been more attentive. He speaks multiple languages (including English) and his wife bakes all the delicious breakfast pastries from scratch. The rooms are very clean and charming. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We were given a parking pass for the train station which was conveniently located about 5 minutes away. This is the perfect home base for exploring Cinque Terre. Levanto itself was wonderful to explore as well.

I can say we got the best breakfast here during our 2 weeks stay in Italy. You can have several options to pick typical a breakfast other than sweet croissant and cookies. The hosts was very friendly and helpful. You get also a parking permission to park in the downtown (free). And we also got a detailed description with a map what to see and how to get there. So we can recommend this place :)

    - quiet and remote location, but just a few minutes (max 10) by car to the Levanto train station - clean - nice hosts, they left us some local wine and lemons - some facilities were older, but everything clean - nice view from the balcony, we could see fireflies in the night - parking was ok, no difficulty finding a spot. The streets are narrow, but manageable.

This house is one of the best we have stayed in: more space than expected, a great kitchen with cooking oil and other thoughtful touches, coffee supplies. The terrace has an amazing view and we had dinner there. It is in a very remote village that felt outside of the world, but is about 10 minutes drive from Levanto where you can get the train.
