We went end of season- 25/09-30/09 however it was fabulous. Be aware if you don’t like early mornings perhaps staying away from the centre is a good idea. The church bells ring out at 6.30am. Good way to get up and enjoy the full day though as there are numerous amazing beaches to explore.

I loved the clear, blue waters in Tisno.
I loved the clear, blue waters in Tisno. There were plenty of beaches, but you do need to wear sea shoes, as most beaches have rocks and no sand.
The town is lovely if you want to get away for a week and enjoy being next to the sea. I highly recommend having breakfast at Hotel Tisno and taking a short trip to Murtur to take in the sights and enjoy a meal in one of their lovely restaurants. I had a 5 star meal at Fine Food Murtur. A bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Tisno is a lovely, picturesque small village/town with the sea running through it separated by a bridge. Great restaurants, with a few shops and bars and plenty of mini-marts. There's lots to do in and around Tisno and its close to many other great resort locations. Thoroughly recommend it.

It is a busy village, quiet towards the mainland and busier towards the island. It is crowded and the sea close to the city is not very clean. Many boats and traffic. The view from the highest hill is breathtaking.

Tisno is beautiful.
Tisno is beautiful. Perfect for around 7-10 days stay - plenty to explore and there are some nearby islands etc. Some glorious coves in amongst pine trees and delicious restaurants on the waters edge. Can't wait to return! :)
Nice clean mobile homes, we especially liked the big veranda in front of it. The area is really nice with lots of olive trees. The beach is lovely and very nearby (the mobile homes are basically adjacent to the beach). We loved the breakfast at the restaurant; very nice yoghurt with fruit and granola! Location is quite nice, with the earlier mentioned beach, but also with the town of Tisno nearby (which also has very nice swim opportunities).
Check-in was arranged perfectly (we were arriving quite late and still got a warm welcome).
Perfect location, just pop straight out of the door and jump into the sea. We attended love international festival and it's a very handy location for the festival site, but we couldn't hear any noise from the site as there is a hill in between (you can hear noise from any town centre music though, as only sea in between you!). The apartment is old fashioned but very cute in its old fashionedness! Beds were comfortable. Parking was easy. Host was easily contactable. There is an amazing restaurant next door which I strongly recommend.
The accommodation was in a wonderful place. The apartment was decently furnished. In reality it is even bigger than in the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom has a large bathtub. The town of Tisno is very nice and it is a nice walk from the apartment. The host was very pleasant. We would definitely recommend it to friends and acquaintances. The possibility to park right in front of the apartment is great and it saves you money and time when looking for a place during the high season.
Owner, Nephew, friends were very hospitable per its a diving business along with being a Bed & Breakfast. Their original language is Czech & we managed to get through communication barrier via Translator App & slowing down to understand one another. The cleanliness of the stay was one of most importance & it was clean even when I would wipe with my own cleaning products, you can tell how originally clean it was. I love that location was near the souvenir market & eateries right off the beautiful water.
Good location for walking to the festival site, the sea front, and the nearest shop / bar / restaurant (although none of these are in abundance in Tisno - the population is apparently 5000 and the number of clubbers at Defected Croatia was also 5000 - so you get the picture!). Amazingly I never heard any of my neighbours at all during sleeping hours, and barely a door slam
either. I think Defected festival goers must be very considerate 😁
Nice owners too.
We’ve jumped from Poland to Croatia for a few days and thanks to Olivia Green Camp we had a wonderful time. Proximity to the water, beautiful view, cleanliness, very thoughtful houses (great with a swimming pool) and most importantly - delicious food in the local grill restaurant (really food on 11/10!)! Thank you for the great time and see you!
Perfectly clean and habitable for one night stay! Hosts were very kind and came to find me when I was lost because booking.com has the wrong directions for their property! I was left by my taxi a mile away because of this and luckily managed to communicate with the owner and her daughter who spoke good english and found me!
Property owner very kind person, great communication and flexibility. Extra effort (upon check-in fridge with drinks/snack provided without extra fee). Accommodation new, good locality, close to sea.
Note: Villa is located on steep hill. Good view but a bit more effort to approach it
If you're going to a festival at The Garden Tisno, Hostel Marko is a great place to stay for it. The location is perfect - one minute from the entrance, but far enough away to not be bothered by the festival noise. There's everything you need, like kitchen, laundry, showers, wifi.
The service was amazing! We received a warm welcome including drinks and fruit. The staff we’re always there if we needed something. They even gave us a ride when there we’re no taxis available. Best service I experienced at a hotel :)
clean, genuine, historical but with all the modern adjustments you’d want. Although understaffed, as most of the establishments in Croatia at this moment, we’ve got all the care and attention we needed from the friendliest staff
Very close to Garden Tisno for Defected, but had a wonderful resort feel to it with the pool and its own private beach. Great staff at the pool bar and restaurant! Clean & spacious. Comfortable beds.
Really nice family-owned hotel with great decor and location.. the breakfast is amazing and they serve later to make it easy for people who are in the festival. Very good environment and calm.
Very clean and modern apartment. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but overall it was great accommodation, central to all the restaurants and bars and seafront.
Very good location Verein pleasant and helpful staff would not hesitate to stay there again breakfast superb lovely pool and really nice terrace sun all day
