It's a great city with pedestrian friendly streets.
It's a great city with pedestrian friendly streets. I mostly enjoyed Trsat Castle, Sablićevo beach and Submarine burger restaurant.
One of the central city locations - Mrtvi kanal - smells bad.
But I think I spent too much time here and I wish I spent more time in Rovinj which was even more amazing.

Dinner at Bistro Molnar was good.
Dinner at Bistro Molnar was good. Location of apartment in relation to public transport also good. Apartment was excellent value as long as you're prepared for the 130 plus stairs up and then down again,

Accomodation is brilliant.
Accomodation is brilliant. Close to the city centre where you can find everything. Beach is also very close if you without a car you can always take a bus and it takes just few minutes to get there... very satisfied. The flat is clean with every supplier you need. Emma is great 🙂 Thanks for a great accomodation through our stay in Rijeka 👍😉

A great historical city with an old town, many restaurants and cafes, and an active cultural life. Excellent opportunities to travel around the area, accessible by public transport: castles, resort towns with excellent beaches and their infrastructure. I recommend taking a boat tour to the nearest islands. Although cards work well, many places only accept cash. I recommend visiting the market, especially in the morning, and if you have the opportunity to cook, buy fresh fish.

Rijeka is a working port so its not the prettiest of places in Croatia. We had a blissful time as we just wanted to read and relax without the hustle and bustle of tourists. We had a hotel right on the water and it was spectacular. Food was cheap and eating out was very reasonable. The town was a real joy and very easy to get around. A great place to commence your journey through beautiful Croatia.

Rijeka is a really good destination for a couple of days.
Rijeka is a really good destination for a couple of days. The centre is walkable and has plenty to show. It's easy to get around what had been Rijeka in history. However it's not so easy to get around what had been Sušak in the period between two world wars. When you come up to Trsat you may dine at Caracca Restaurant. It is also good to eat at the restaurant across the park that separates the Croatian National Theater Ivan pl. Zajc and the market. Prices in Rijeka are reasonable as far as I could see.
Personell were always very positive, on point, attentive and courteous. Especially Jelena at the reception, one of the very friendly ladies at the breakfast table who brought us coffees every morning (unfortunately no name, but she had blonde hair and a big smile) as well as one of the hotel‘s valet parking concierges (again no name but a very friendly, elder gentlemen) made sure our stay is as relaxed and memorable as possible. Thank you very much!
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was located nearby the city center but still quite in a way. You could find cafes and restaurants within a walking distance. We could see the water canal from our window. The staff tried to be helpful as possible. The guy from the day shift gave us advice about public transport and beaches. They also let us an early check-in. The breakfast was delicious and one had many different choices to appreciate.
The apartment was cozy and the host was very welcoming. Excellent communication, great sight from the balcony, large number of ammenities. Pleasant location with plenty of space for parking and well maintained infrastructure around.
Bus stop a hundred meters away, supermarkets not far away, a great place.
The place is furnished like a home and while not super luxurious, does feel like a home, instead of an anonimous hotel/bnb.
The staff was excellence, I arrived too early, nobody was there, and he came earlier and I could occupy the room - thanks! The location is excellent, it is located next to the Korzo, which is the "fashion (walking) street" of Rijeka. Other accommodations are more expensive in this location. Elevator exists in the building and works well.
The manager is very kind and he is working really hard to make everything perfect. The service is comparable to luxurious hotel. We enjoyed it. The location is very good as well. Also the cleanness was amazing. Everything smelled really nice. We definitely recommend this place. Our dog enjoyed it as well :)
The apartment has everything you could need for your stay, even more than a hotel and the sea view and the big terrace definitely help! 😊 The host thought about everything. She even gave us tips on what to visit and where to eat in the area. Definitely recommend for a short/long stay in the area.
The hotel is situated near the very center of Rijeka. Since it is a skyscraper, it also offers an amazing panoramic view.
It has a garage with no extra payment. Breakfast is a buffet type and is very abundant. The check-in and check-out were very fast and easy.
The location is perfect - either Rijeka center or beaches are easily reacheable. Appartments are really nice, cosy and has everything we need. The host was very welcome. I would advice him everyone. Had a nice rest there, no problems, no troubles.
Absolutely everything.
It's a small cozy apartment just 5 min from Korzo.
It has everything you need from the facilities, it's beautifully decorated, peaceful.
I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Rijeka.
Good host, very friendy and helpful, showed us location after arival and gave us good tips what not to avoid aroud, nice weather most of the time, good fish restaurants in rijeka and opatia
Very nice and clean apartment with everything you might need, including dishwasher and washing machine.
Nicely situated in the center of Rijeka, old town at short walking distance.
Perfect accommodation for our one night in Rijeka. Bed was comfortable; shower great. Small kitchenette was an added bonus. Everything spotlessly clean. Thanks for a great stay.
Everything was just perfect! I am just sad we couldn't stay for more than one night, but if we ever come back to Rijeka Engine rooms is for sure going to be our choice again!
