Wengen was straight out of a postcard! The town was charming and the views were second to none. The vacation was wonderful for us as a couple, but is also very family friendly. There were well behaved dogs with many of the visitors as well. I cannot wait to return!

The setting in the Jungfrau Region is jaw-dropping.
The setting in the Jungfrau Region is jaw-dropping. Small village feel with accomodations ranging from rustic to luxurious. Traffic-free, except for the occassional taxi or public works vehicle. Train access to high apline environment is unparalleled! Just wish the snow was better in late January.

Stunning scenery wherever you go.
Stunning scenery wherever you go. Good mix of transport options (train, gondola, cable cars) - just need a bit of patience as only runs every 15-30 mins. Great place for sledding, walking and just enjoying the majestic mountains.

Very cute town with lots of local places to eat/drink and shop on the on-season. Since we were there during slack, there were VERY few options. Wouldn't recommend unless it's full-on winter or full-on summer!

Wengen was one of our favorite places to visit on our 3 week vacation. We loved taking the Tram up to Murren and also from Wengen to the top of the mountain. We we went in September so there was no snow yet. Lovely and memorable town.

Wengen is a beautiful spot to visit and it's neat that its a car free town. We visited with kids so the ball course set up through the town was amazing for keeping the kids entertained (you get the balls at the tourist information office). Other than walking around the town or taking the gondola up to Mannlichen there's not much to do. Again it provides beautiful sites but you'll need to find things to entertain children.
The hotel is located right in front of the train station, there's a Coop next door and a self-service laundromat at the building (reception will help with more info). The views are breath-taking and you can take the train to Kleine Scheidegg and take another from there to the Jungfraujoch (The top of Europe). Lauterbrunnen is just down the hill, the train runs every half-hour and the ride is only 13 minutes. The hotel has two restaurants (great steak) and there are many around (pizza, pasta, steak, and Santos has the best burgers 🍔😋)
The hotel location was breathtaking, the staff were all amazing, and the room was beautiful. We often ate at the hotel restaurant (4 course meal that changes daily) and the food was *always* fantastic. A big thank you again to the amazing people that keep the place running. Even though the hotel was full to bursting point, including a huge family of at least 10 adults and 20 young children, the staff were always smiling and helpful. I wish them all the best and am looking forward to staying again - hopefully next year :)
Every thing was perfect. Julie is probably the best host i have ever come across, she is very professional. The check in instructions were clear and helpful and the whole process was seamless. The property itself was better than a 5 star resort suite. It was spotless, excellent size for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids, kitchen was well equiped, location was excellent and close to the train stations and above all majestic views.
I would highly recommend to contact Julie if you are travelling to Wengen.
The best thing about this property is the view. Hands down. We hiked around several trails, but always agreed that we loved the view of the valley from the house best!
The house was beautiful, clean, and well equipped. It was obviously newly renovated, and we appreciated the details and furnishings. We honestly could have stayed forever. There was plenty of room for our family of seven to stretch out. We loved that it was located outside of Wengen and in a little more peaceful location.
The hotel is better than expected. It looked older from the pictures, but it's actually newer and well-preserved. The rooms were big enough; we also had a big balcony and a breathtaking view of the Jungfrau.
The owner is very helpful for any activity you wish to plan. Dinner is good (not gourmet, but price-wise well worth it), and breakfast is fresh and tasty. Tea and coffee are available for free all day long in a cozy tea room.
Free ski deposit next to the cable car.
Spectacular views from the balcony! Room is small but cozy and nice. There are many hotels in Wengen but given Jungfraublick is on the little hill you have unobstructed view. There is good breakfast included in the room rate. It’s only 5min walk from the railway station. Victor & Irene’s hospitality is simply outstanding- they will do everything to make your stay in Wengen comfortable. We had great stay in Jungfraublick.
Bed comfortable; view from room absolutely stunning; room clean; breakfast good; service non existent. Coming to the end of a 3 week holiday where all the hotel staff had been pleasant and welcoming it was a culture shock to be treated so brusquely and with reluctance. I realise that thousands descend on Wengen every day but a cheerful smile of welcome would have earned the hotel an 8.5 instead of a 7.
I liked everything about my stay in Wengen and at this hotel. The staff was very attentive, polite, kind and helpful. The room was comfy and the view was spectacular. The location was extremely convenient and I will be staying here on my next trip to Wengen. I have to mention also that the entire staff works very hard at making your stay exceptional.
The room was very spacious and the staff were so kind and helpful. The hotel is very close to the station which is helpful when you have a lot of luggage and it’s right in the middle of town with an amazing view of the mountains. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and the next time I come to Switzerland I will definitely be staying there again.
great hospitality. loved the staff - they were very warm and welcoming. the hotel is located at a great spot in Wengen offering excellent views of the mountains. good proximity to the Wengen station as well. The room was clean. The staff also was able to accommodate our meal preferences which was extremely helpful.
I stayed here for 7 nights over Xmas and it exceeded my expectations, from check in to departure I couldn't have asked for more. Great room size, freshly prepared cuisine, large balcony with views of Wengen and mountains. Lounge with tea and coffee facilities. Staff so helpful.
This hotel deserves an extra star.
The stay here exceeds my expectation. Booked one night for the room with luxury view. On the lovely beautiful balcony u get superb view of mountain Jungfrau and the town of Wengen. It’s a hotel plus restaurant, really like the wooden touch & deco of the place. Breakfast ok too, loved their pastry
Amazing hospitality at a super stylish hotel. Breakfast was incredible and the views from the hotel are stunning. The staff treat you like family and are happy to drive you to the train station (8 min walk). I would absolutely return here, and next time I would upgrade for a room with views.
This hotel really does have the best view in all of Wengen! We did not want to leave our balcony. The hotel is very charming because it is old! I think 1890? But the bed is very comfortable, and the bathrooms work well. The breakfast is amazing.
The rooms were classic Ski Lodge style and the beds were amazing. They even had a lift so you could prop yourself up to watch TV. The Bathroom was larger than many other hotels we stayed in during our trip.
This is such a lovely, peaceful hotel with probably one of the best Jungfrau views in Wengen. It is way more quieter than the other hotels in town, and everything was just perfect!
A lovely boutique hotel in a great location, 2 minutes walk from Wengen station. The food is superb and the staff are very friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended!
