We only stayed for 1 night to catch the Glacier Express the next day. By the time we checked in and got settled, most points of attraction had closed except shops. Would have liked to arrive earlier in the day to explore. However, our one night stay was quite pricey (probably the most I have ever paid for a room hotel - granted this is St. Moritz at Christmas and we had a “family room” (queen bed room with adjacent room with bunk beds).
However, I fully enjoyed the Glacier Express, even though it was snowy & cloudy. Would love to do it again in the summer!

We went off season so many places were closed but what was open was perfect - a friendly welcome from everywhere we went. The Engadinia restaurant and the Parkhotel Margna in Sils were ideal places to eat. St. Moritz is easy to get around - we walked everywhere.
Great place to visit

It may be a rich man's play ground and the shops and the prices reflect that. It is a pleasant place to stay and the scenery is wonderful, but there are many other places in Switzerland where that is true. We stayed there because we wanted to travel on the Glacier Express and that ride is spectacular. We would not bother with St Moritz in the Summer otherwise.

A really great place for leisure ~ you can see the snow mountains ~ lakes ~ and valleys at the same time~ if you enjoy sports ~ there is a heaven for hiking, cycling, jogging, swimming, boarding Kate and playing tennis in summer~
This hotel was so lovely! It’s a great location for travelling on the Glacier & Bernina Express as the train station has an underpass directly to the lake and hotel. The hotel also has transport which would have been good to get to the hotel as it’s uphill. The room, bathroom, restaurant and breakfast are all excellent. Fast wifi. Good hairdryer and they also provide a day backpack and binoculars for use while staying. Personally I don’t think it’s worth going into town, stay at the hotel and use the wellness centre instead.
The room was a nice size and comfortable. The hotel was lovely, and the staff super friendly. The hotel's breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices. The location would be easy to get to, it is not far from the train station, but it is uphill and taxis are available from the train station. We did utilize the hotel's shuttle to the train station upon check out. There is a decent restaurant on site, but it is also a short walk to any shopping mart.
Staying at Hotel Chesa Spuondas is a relaxing alternative to choosing something in downtown St. Moritz. The gardens and woods are soothing and it's interesting seeing and using the old ground floor public rooms such as the library. One of the gentlemen servers in the dining room was extremely friendly and attentive. The evening meals were small but interesting and tasty. The walk into town took approximately 40 minutes along a very pleasant mountain path.
Comfortable, clean and cosy room with a balcony overlooking the main roundabout. Enough space for us and the kids. Complimentary pickup and drop-off from train station. Nice restaurant where we enjoyed both a relaxed breakfast and a delicious dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location to explore the town from. Enjoyed music at the jazz festival playing right in the hotel courtyard during our stay.
Clean, modern, included breakfast buffet (eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit, bread, ham, various cheeses, juice, espresso, tea, cereal, some fresh vegetables). Dry sauna & steam room. Next to bus stop in St. Moritz Bad. Nice little balcony overlooking city street. Nice walk along (frozen) lake to downtown St. Moritz.
The 2 bedroom family room had 2 bathrooms which was also lovely.
The Hotel Steffani was absolutely beautiful! It was very clean our room was very comfortable with a great view. The restaurant in the Staffani Hotel was vey good. We ate dinner there the night we arrived and the breakfast which was also very good. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Great location. We really enjoyed our stay!
The location and the view from our bedroom window was outstanding. The room size was large and the beds were comfortable. The food served at the restaurant was exceptional. Overall, the hotel was well maintained, had great atmosphere and character. Would have liked to stay an extra night.
The location and the facilities were great. Our room was large and comfortable. Loved the restaurant and the little bakery. Used the shuttle to the train station at the end of our stay. We walked to the hotel to arrive and the large escalator from the station into town was great.
Lovely 2nd floor room with small balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. Fantastic 360 view from top floor spa & large balcony.
Central city location with valet parking on site.
Choice of 2 restaurants.
High class traditional hotel keeping reasonably up to date.
What a fantastic historic hotel! The lobby, the dining area, the restaurant, and the rooms were all amazing. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options. Staff was super friendly when I checked into the hotel and helpful with directions and recommendations.
Large hotel that still feels cozy and comfy. Good breakfast buffet even if a little crowded sometimes. Great wellness offer in combination with access to the pool and wellness center St. Moritz Bad. We got an "older" room but it was very pleasant and comfortable.
The staff were exceptional. It is a great location very close to the main roundabout in town. The included breakfast was very good. And it felt like you traveled back in time to when St. Moritz first got its start, but in a good way.
the rooms are nice, spacious, the little extras make it convenient and are what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. the staff is excellent, polite, welcoming and helpful. the food is excellent. the differentiator here is the service.
This was a good value accomodation in St. Moritz for those who wish to take in the area and but not the high priced accomodations. The common area was nice. The breakfest included all one needs to start the day.
Everything: impeccable service, wonderful location, plentiful breakfasts, luxury terrace with fantastic view, good livemusic bar, restaurants.. Fantastic Spa. This is one of the best hotels.
good location for exploring Switzerland. good breakfast and excellent restaurant too. staff went out of their way to assist our group when we had problems with our transport.
