Estoril is a beautiful location to stay.
Estoril is a beautiful location to stay. Walking along the promenade towards Caiscais was wonderful and we got to experience the sea in many different moods, calm, stormy and just blue waves most days. It is so easy to get the train to Lisbon from here, just get a Navigante Occasionale card. We also used a very reasonably priced Uber to go to Sintra, which was stunning, a must-see. We had some amazing food, you need to try Manjar da Vila in Caiscais, very authentic Portuguese cuisine.

We came for a wedding, but have always stayed in Algarve, we visited friends who had a villa near sintra, we visted Cascias (drove around) and see a small bit of Estoril.
Having seen many wonderfull looking places just while driving about wished we had stayed in this area longer to visit and see more.
So intend to re-visit and see it all properly

We only stayed one night in Estoril.
We only stayed one night in Estoril. We spent the afternoon in Cascais which is really pretty and there was lots to do. If I had the choice again, I’d stay in Cascais. The casino is a big focal point in Estoril. We had dinner at Jackpot restaurant next to the casino which was very nice and the staff were really friendly.

We had no favourite, places to eat.
We had no favourite, places to eat. There are many lovely places to eat.
You dont need a car to get around, train from Lisbon to Cascais runs along all the coastal towns and beaches. Buses are abundant to all the local spots and points of interest and also easy to walk.
I love estoril, it is fantastic for events and activities in the summer months.
We absolutely loved the sea view from our 13th floor balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The room size was good with a small kitchenette and two very comfortable arm chairs. The outdoor and indoor pools were great. The breakfast was very good. The hotel staff were amazing. They were all extremely kind and helpful and went over and above their normal duties to help us in so many ways.
Also, it is very close to the station to catch trains to Cascais and Lisbon.
The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have had. There was great variety, high quality, and a reasonable price. The room had a good view of the sea and coastline, although the balcony was noisy as the hotel is by a busy junction on the main road. With the double glazing the room was quiet if the door was shut. The room was modern and there was a great shower. The gym on the sixth floor was very well equipped and with lovely views towards Cascais.
We loved staying at Ocean View in Estoril. It’s a great location, walking distance to the beach, super market, restaurants and train. The garage was great, since is not easy to find a parking spot on the street. The pool and the view from the balcony were two of our favorite spots. The house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Sr.José was always available to answer our questions and very welcoming.
Would love to come back.
Good location, close walk from the hotel to 3 different beaches and several eating places as well. Hotel have good beds (I like soft beds). Good breakfast like in most of the places in Portugal (white bread, jam, eggs, ham, cheese etc). We used and liked also the swimming pool, like every were the water was not heated. We liked very much. Under the house is the place for car parking. We used a rental car. Good value for the money.
Staff were so good girls at bar in particular were so friendly to be honest all the staff in hotel are fabulous ,short walk to beach were u can jump on train to Lisbon which takes 30 mins, its also only only 1 stop to cascais in opposite direction . You can also walk along the sea front to cascais in 20 mins which is nicest place iv been its fab ,I would definitely return you are central to everything and price is so reasonable
- Location for what we were looking for was great. Very close to Cascais and not far from the center of Lisbon by car;
- Plenty of parking spaces on the street in front of the property;
- Great lounge area;
- Good Wifi signal;
- Great sea view;
- Very clean;
- Great bathroom and shower;
- Great system of access. All through digital codes. No need any intervention from the owner.
I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water provided daily. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel's location just a two-minute walk from the ocean was ideal. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway.
The Hotel Palacio Estoril is the grande dame of hotels in this area. It is a hotel with history, and the fabulous décor reflects her grand style.
The rooms are well appointed as are the bathrooms with thick cotton towels and bath robes.
The Banyan Tree Spa is superlative. The best spa ever.
Disappointed in Estoril, nothing there, Came from a lovely week in Cascais. Hotel dull corridors, dull rooms, very clean, beds not comfortable, little or no sleep.Staff very helpful and friendly, pool area nice, Breakfast lovely selection and good choice.Our water bill was overly expensive.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful staff, beautiful location. It was a great final of our exceptional holiday in the amazing Portugal. Everything was great, and we only wait to visit InterContinental Cascais-Estoril again. Thank you for a great stay!
I love the staff and the room with the beautiful garden, but I also appreciated the delicious breakfast they served every morning and the convenient location of the hotel near all the main attractions. Overall, it was an amazing experience!
The restaurant is delicious and the staff is friendly and professional. I loved the rooms, it has everything you needed and is spacious. The pool is beautiful and a quiet place to relax. The hotel is nearby many restaurants going by car.
The hotel is built on a fantastic place, by the beach, very close to Estoril train station, near restaurants, bars and shops. Estoril itself is an amazing neighborhood, with beautiful beaches and pleasant climate.
Practical, with free parking, good location between Lisbon and Cascais.
Pedro was the most helpful host.
Not only you have a decent stay but in the same time you are helping the kids program.
The location was key - close to our family in Estoril, as well as to the train for when we wanted to go to Lisbon. We also appreciated the space and the amenities - air/heat, laundry, etc.
