The Breakfast was great !!! The room too, apart from the fact that the single room was very very small...Whereas most of the hotel give a small double for a single, each of us had a very small single for a single (kind of the chauffeur's room).

Wonderful location with views across the lake.Plenty of parking and about a 15 minute walk from the town centre. It’s more of a conference centre than a plush hotel. But very clean and a simple breakfast. Helpful staff.

It was a pleasure spending our holidays at the Chi Ghinn - a unique experience that we will not forget. It's an enchanting place with a breathtaking view on the lake. Although it’s a bit difficult to reach it by car due to the narrow streets in the Bée district, the fantastic view is worth all the effort. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the wonderful Italian flair is reflected throughout the house. The breakfast is just perfect with freshly made coffee brought to the table, bread, homemade jam, yoghurt and freshly squeezed juice... The staff, especially Sainey, was extremely friendly, always helpful and we enjoyed the nice conversations. The Chi Ghinn gets a hundred percent recommendation from us.

We stayed in Intra, a smaller district / town part of Verbania. The town was great; it had shops, supermarkets, cultural activities, a small beach, great nightlife atmosphere with restaurants and bars. It felt safe to walk around at night. We did not like the busy main traffic road crossing right through the town. That was definitely the spoiler for us.
Beware of expensive restaurants serving poor quality food 'for the tourists'. Better buy food yourself and cook at your apartment if possible! Great quality Italian products at a third of the price. Great ferry trips departing often. Beware of the islands excursion, took forever to get to Isola Bella and definitely a bit of a tourist trap, a very beautiful one though!. Great hiking and biking excursions, just do a little research and there's loads of amazing places to see. Huge market on Saturday. Leather goods for all tastes. Be careful again, they will try and charge you heaven and earth for cheese, salamis, fruit etc. Otherwise, Fabulous!

Verbania is a beautiful city on Lago Maggiore.
Verbania is a beautiful city on Lago Maggiore. There is a free market every Saturday, with good bargains and excellent fresh fruit and vegetables. The cathedral on San Vittore is a must see. And the Botanical Gardens: Villa Taranto is a great place to sit and enjoy the views of the Lake and Nature's Treasures.

Relaxing setting with lots of options. Visiting the beautiful islands on Lago Maggiore and Villa Taranto botanical gardens were highlights for us. The busy weekly market on Saturday brought out the tourists and visitors. Lots of options for restaurants in the town.

Eating out as well as shopping is excellent.
Corona safety meassures are observed in all places we visited.
I've been a regular visitor to the area for 40 years and I can say things have not deteriorated there like in many other places, on the contrary if anything the overall impression of the place has improved and is more attractive today - definitely no tourist trap.
For us it was perfectly located, with brilliant view over the lake, to the mountains and over the Borromean Islands, and sun from morning to evening. The apartment is very well equipped, perfectly equipped kitchen, and when wr came end February, very well heated and comfortable. Easy access to the lake, we took the path and sidewalks along the lake all the way to Pallanza and even Intra, good bus connection from just below the house.
The area in around Verbania is wonderful, plenty to do and to see, and to enjoy.
The hotel is located in the tennis club, close to the main street but in a quite corner. Then it takes you only 5 minutes on foot to go to the old town next door. The free parking was convenient, the breakfast was nice and the staff was so helpful. What is even better, the restaurant in the tennis club offers tasty local food at really good price. We all enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would high recommend it!
Location and view are great, breakfast was delicious with many options (also for the gluten intolerant). Even though we left our hostel days behind us and stayed in a double room, my past self could absolutely appreciate the facilities and quality of the hostel. We loved the restaurants and coffee places more on the Verbania side, rather than Intra.
I LOVE THIS PROPERTY!!!! So much we have just made another booking !! I am from California USA and I stay at 5 star hotels - this exceeded my expectations. The owners have payed attention to every detail. You do not need to look anywhere else - it’s new it’s beautiful it’s awesome.
Small hotel, but very attentive to our many questions before our arrival and during our stay. Ancora centrally located and convenient to ferry, botanical gardens and restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast added to a wonderful stay in Verbania.
Great three days stay in Verbania. We appreciated the kind, helpful, and always positive way Giovanna hosted us at her home.
Wonderful view across the Verbania/Baveno/Stresa corner of the Lago Maggiore. Such a relaxing atmosphere that even the rain did not matter.
Location was excellent for many different activities close by and the staff was very helpful and nice. The location was also very quiet compared to other areas around . The hotel was very clean and modern. The breakfasts were good and sufficient choices.

The location can not get any better, great access to everything inside and around verbania. Unfortunately. The bed was not the best, that one can use an upgrade for the price the hotel is asking. Service and staff are very helpful and friendly.
Beautifully located overlooking the lake and a short distance from the ferry dock, the hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms. An additional highlight is the courteous and helpful staff present at the front desk.
It was a bit cold in the room. We tried fixing the heating sensor on the wall up to 23 but still did not work. We were here end of October
This is an old fashion hotel, it has its charm. It is simple.
