Good place to transit after arriving from the ferry in Picton. Several places to eat as a good sized town. Ate in Bamboo Garden (5 minutes walk) as had been recommended to us by people on the ferry. Food was excellent.

We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February.
We stayed 3 nights in Blenheim in February. The city itself is not too big but cosy. There are some beautiful parks and gardens. Breathtaking mountains views. Runway cafe on the way to Blenheim airport was quite nice. Food was delicious. Most of the time we spent exploring nearby areas. A lot of good wineries around for degustation and lunch. We travelled to Picton ( 30 min by car). Had a cruise there. Plenty of cafes on the waterfront. Visited the impressive Omaka aviation heritage centre. "Muscles pot" restaurant in Havelock was nice. Would be great if we had at least one more day to visit more places in the Marlborough region.

Opted not to hire car which I would probably change when visiting again although we did manage with walking to city centre and and utilising shuttles to get out to Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre. Omaka is an absolute jewell. We were here for Garden Raupara Springs so transport otherwise not an issue for us. We were close to a Countdown and Bamboo Garden Restaurant which was fabulous and we also visited a Japanese Restaurant. Had our wine tasting at the gardens so did not visit winery; we come from West Auckland also a hub of wineries so we were happy with just the tasting at the garden event. The shuttle who took us to Omaka was happy for just a pick up call and then took us to a garden centre for a quick look around. Very obliging! Of course I bought a plant and took it back to Auckland. Thanks for a lovely stay, can't recommend Blenheim enough!

Amazing good.
The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre is a world-class museum showcasing WW1 and WW2 aircraft and artefacts
We combine it with a day driving in thewineries and dining at a winery.
Willow View was perfect for my few day stay in Blenheim. Easy access to the area - wineries, town, etc. The owners also gave e-bikes that you can rent for the day! Craig & Kate are so lovely and have put so much effort into making this a unique and comfortable place to stay. The property is beautiful! While the space is connected to their home, it feels very private. Also Kate has a wellness spa next door - I highly recommend seeing if she has openings while in town! It’s fabulous!
This small motel was just what I wanted for my 2 nights in Blenheim. It is within walking distance of downtown and local grocery stores. The small kitchen had everything I could need. The place was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. I had a very quiet 1 apartment unit at the very back with a small patio, which was just perfect. The proprietor was very friendly and ordered me a taxi to the airport for the next day. I would stay here again!
Fantastic location, adjoining a vineyard (few minutes from airport) Beautifully maintained premises.
Sheep shearing themed cottages - old shearing tools and paintings displayed on walls
which is a brilliant idea, gives you that rustic feel, Lots of trees, birds - bird songs to listen to in the mornings
Sumptuous breakfast - Extremely relaxing - enjoyed every minute
We ended up stuck in Blenheim due to road closures so booked to stay here last minute and was the best decision we made. Extended our stay to two nights and it was the most peaceful, warm place we could’ve been. Surrounded by vineyards and bird sounds. Lovely hosts to match a lovely place!
The Hotel is well designed to be welcoming. Our host, Kerry was delightful and helpful.
Rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. I had the smaller room and our companions had the larger room with a frig.
Plus Sasa, Japanese Restaurant, was outstanding on many levelsl
This was one of the best motels I've stayed in around the world. It was so comfortable, cozy and pretty. The managers/owners are so lovely and kind. I ended up staying again on my way back home. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality, Roger and Judy!
Spectacular apartment. Incredibly well kitted out and stylishly decorated. Plus it was huge and secluded. we had a wonderful stay, cycling to vineyards by day (go to Bikes and Beyond Blenheim to hire e-bikes) and relaxing in the lodge at night. Highly recommended!
Probably the best value for money out of any hotel I've stayed in, including overseas. Rooms spacious, very clean and modern. Couldn't fault and wasn't expecting it to be so nice due to what we paid. Staff very polite and professional.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Blenheim. Fun decor in a 100 year old building. Staff was awesome! In house restaurant and bar were excellent. Included breakfast was very good. On site parking. Loved it!
The hotel and room were perfect. Very swanky old building. My room was thoughtfully furnished and felt plush. I also loved the vault seating area where you can enjoy complimentary port.
This is a moderately priced facility that "punches well above its weight" we have stayed at much more expensive motels that do not approach the overall excellence experienced here.
We were upgrade to the Chateau Marlborough because Spring was overbooked.
Thank you Erica, it was Awesome, we loved it, but we will stay with you on our next trip, I promise.
Everything was great... needed accommodation between airport and vineyard for family occasion. Property was found lovely clean and tidy. Better than expected.
