Have stayed many times before and rooms have now been updated and modernised. Much nicer and great vakue for money.
Recommend to anyone looking for a Budapest airport hotel...and the free shuttle to the aiport is a big bonus.
Staff are very friendly too.

The reason to stay overnight here is to get on an early flight. There is no train service early enough from other parts of Hungary to get to the airport for early flights, so staying over the night before is the best option.

I was there overnight to meet my sister in law the following morning to begin a trip together. The room was exceptionally clean and my flight was very late arriving due to chaos at Amsterdam airport. I loved how close the Ibis was to the airport. We were able to enjoy a great breakfast selection in a pleasant dining area. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and attractive. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

We only interacted with one member of the staff, but she was very nice. The room was spacious and has obviously been renovated recently as all of the facilities (shower, A/C, etc were in great working condition. The only concern that we had was that there wasn't an ATM nearby and the hotel only takes cash.
