Extremely beautiful nature and surrounding area with a lot...
Extremely beautiful nature and surrounding area with a lot to explore. A plethora of different dining options, although limited to a traditional cuisine. The people, as far as my personal experience, was more than friendly and talkative. I had the fortune of being shown around by a local, who i might say is awesome, which is an understatement, however, you can get by just by asking around.
One of the better local wines I have had in Bulgaria. Petrich allows you to detach from the day-to-day life of the big city, while still providing all the 'needed' amenities such as big shops, banks and general services.
Most importantly, if Bulgarian, Petrich allows you to "expand" your vocabulary and understanding of the language itself. I thoroughly recommend a visit!

The city has 31,821 people and it is known for the festivals that are maintained there, Baba Vanga house, Heraclea Sintica, Petrich monastery, Belasitsa mountains, the fortress of Tsar Samuil (that I did not arrived to visit it) and the monasterical complex of Rupite. I think again in the future I want to return back to this calm city! This trip will remain an unforgettable memory!

Petrich is a small but super trendy city!
Petrich is a small but super trendy city! It is located by the greek and Macedonian border, it makes it a great place where you can take a few days stop to enjoy Bulgarian nature. There is a lot to see around Petrich. Melnik about 20 km away is a village known for wine. About 15 km away is “Rupite” and “Baba Vanga Temple” a rural place where you can truly charge yourself and get to experience the mineral lakes which have different temperature and also get to feel the energy from the nearby Volcano!

A shitty little town, full of people with more requests, than what to offer in return. I would avoid it if there is a possibility. And do not go to restaurant Provence - very bad behaviour towards not-known, not local customers.

I lived in this area for two years, fifteen years ago.
I lived in this area for two years, fifteen years ago. It was fun to revisit the city and learn how it has changed. There are great restaurants and some shopping, but I really spend more time in the surrounding villages.
This apartment is a true gem! The layout of the flat was super for a group of travellers, all of the rooms were nicely decorated and spotless.
The host was very accomodating and even provided us with a welcome book. The book encompasses all the information you might need during your stay in Petrich and the nearby area.
Checkout was easy and the host kept us well informed of the process.
I would recommend this apartment to all my friends and family!
I’d like the lady Maria who runs the hotel she showed me all the places to go I sat with her out in the front had coffee speaks a little English, but it was nice to sit with her and her friends in the front and watch the world go by Mellnik very nice place and all the Roman ruins The spa up the road, free hot water from the ground. I hope my knee.
It’s a cheap accommodation in Petrich. For 17 euros you get a room that is very basic and built to purpose. Surprisingly the spring bed was very comfortable and the surrounding was quiet. No amenities in the room, no kettle, shampoo, hair dryer…but it has air conditioning which is crucial when it’s hot and humid outside
The hotel is clean and modern and the staff is exceptionally friendly. My husband and I traveled with our 4 month old soon and we felt welcomed and very well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel, thank you for the wonderful hospitality!!
Very nice place, furnished well, very clean! A very attentive owner - we were surprised by the bottle of wine and the fruits, which were a complement! We will definitely stay there again if we visit the region of Petrich!
Beds, especially the mattresses, are so comfy and able to sleep without a problem. The bathroom was really cozy. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Would re-visit the hotel again. It met our expectations.
The hotel is newly built and the facilities are still in good condition. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance but having a fully functional restaurant in the hotel is definitely a plus.
Convenient for a 1 night stay. We arrived late, and the room was already heated (they have AC), which was a plus.
Also, even though the access is via a dirt road, the hotel has its own private parking.
The hotel is having an amazing location and from outcide looks nice and comfortable. The service personnel is amazing and tryed to help with everything they could. The hotel accepts pets - wanderful.
The hotel has few parking places in front of the main entrance which was perfect as I travel by car.
Very good internet wifi!
The breakfast was tasty, prepared in the morning.
Good , stylish hotel in a quiet, more rural residential area: Comfortable bed, spacious room, everything spotless. The lady at reception nice and helpful.
