The hotel exceeded our expectations. We were given a room with direct access to a pool shared by 4 room which was lovely. The breakfasts were amazing with everything from yoghurt and fruit to homemade savoury pastries to beautiful cakes, eggs several ways, freshly squeezed juice, bacon sausage and served on the balcony with view of the ocean.
Access to the sea from the rocks just below the pool was spectacular and sunsets to die for. We ate at the pool restaurant several times and enjoyed it each time.
The beautiful beach of Emplisi is an easy short walk and was one of our favourites of the holiday.
The shuttle bus to Fiskardo goes regularly and makes evenings in the town easy although the walk is also pleasant.
Morning yoga was excellent and although we didn't use the tennis and squash court looked well maintained.

The view was great over towards Ithaca but unfortunately it was partly obscured on several days due to the Saharan sand. There was plenty of room for us but we were just 4 persons. There was a private balcony for sunbathing. You are not overlooked by other villas and it is very quiet.
Mimi resolved minor problems quickly.
Foki beach although not great is walkable and the restaurant there is basic but good value.
We didn't eat in any cooked meals but there looked to be everything you need to do so. The showers were powerful and plentiful as were the wardrobes for your clothes.

Fiskado is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia.
Fiskado is one of the loveliest places on Kefalonia. It has a wonderful mixture of lovely restaurants, shops, beach and bayfront. Honestly it's the perfect place to have your first taste of Kefalonia, I've gone back 5 times since my fist visit in 2016.
Try, Foki beach, Emplysi Beach, Have drinks at the harbour front and watch the sailing yachts and motor yatchs coming in and out, while sipping an Aperol Spritz. Ellies for dinner for a treat def the best Res end of the bay. Irida's, Vasso's, Apagio all great. Theodora Cafe for Aperol Spritz and Cosmopolitans!
There are SO many amazing shops too, I have tried and failed to NOT come back with anything I just had to have....beautiful clothes from Greek designers...don't be too hasty to dismiss! Leather good, china, olives and olive oil of course...oh the OLIVES!

A little piece of heaven , so tranquil & beautiful.
A little piece of heaven , so tranquil & beautiful. Has something for everyone, so many restaurants, beaches to choose from . Gets busy around the harbour when the tourists depart the ferry at midday, I’m always at the beach at this time so not a problem. The ambience in the evening is lovely & interesting watching the yachts & how the rich live . The quality of the food here is very high , the fish super fresh . Lots of lovely beaches to to drive to just outside the are . Will be returning for my 5 the visit next year

Beautiful harbour.
Beautiful harbour. Plenty of restaurants and for us a great base to visit other beaches in a hire car and return to Fiskardo in the evening. Best of both. Nearby, Fiki beach was lovely. Make sure you buy swimming shies as the beaches and bays are stoney. Crystal clear water makes up for it! We stayed at Anthis beach apartments overlooking the small beach. Perfect location , lovely host . Thanks Gina for making our stay so enjoyable.

Fiskardo is a high end buzzing place.
Fiskardo is a high end buzzing place. Yes the tavernas are at the pricey end but the quality is good and the atmosphere is great. We only had one poor meal and should have realised that going to a place that wasn’t busy was a sign it might not be great. The Thai restaurant was a fun find, probably the best meal of the holiday. We chartered a yacht one day which was our big treat and a lovely experience. We also rented a motor boat from Reginas and that was as much fun. We love Fiscardo

One of the few villages in Kefallonia that survived a devastating earthquake, Fiskardo is truly picturesque. It is a tiny cozy fishing village with a plentiful of restaurants and nice shops. there are three walking paths around - including one taking you to a Venetian and modern lighthouse. Highly recommended!

We're not the sort to just lie on the beach all day - but we love a harbour!. Fiskardo is considered by some to be 'upmarket' but it has a lovely chilled vibe and we love just sitting in a bar or restaurant just watching the boats coming and going. Fiskardo is completely car-free so it's peaceful and relaxed with everything right at the water's edge.
The Hotel is nice and it was very clean and they put a couple of bottles of water ready in the Fridge.
The owner was nice and helpful, he loaned me a scissors to finish a sewing project.
The location was good, in between the two different places where my Family was staying, and only about a 5 minute walk to the Waterfront cafes and shops.
The "Share a Book" shelf was a nice surprise.
The local beach is just in front of the door.
Parking in front of the house, if you get lucky, but the town parking lot is only about a block away.
A small pretty newly built villa in a quiet location just 10 minutes from Fiskado - finished to a high standard, well equipped with a lovely pool. Wonderful sunsets.
Unfortunately the air-conditioning in the main bedroom did not work for the whole time we were there which was a problem given that Greece was having a heatwave.
My husband and I shared a small twin bedded room which although fine spoilt our experience. Frustratingly the engineers appeared to fix the air-conditioning on the morning that we were leaving.
Location is near the beautifull village of fiskardo. You can walk to the village or take a taxi for 4 Eur. There is also a hotel shuttle to the village a few times a day. I would recommend to rent a car or scooter.
It was clean and the view from the pool is amazing. Very relax atmosphere in the hotel and around the pool. Especially the staff of the hotel is amazing! They are willing to help you with everything! Again, thanks you all for your help during our holiday.
I would recommend this hotel to everyone
The Location is Super, just a few steps
and one is right in the middle of everything on the waterfront.
The air conditioner works wonderfully.
The maid was nice, she speaks only Greek, is the only one I saw. My son had already checked in.
The room was clean and pretty basic. But I think there is a difference between all the different rooms.
It would make sense to ask directly with Hotel , which room one is getting. Esp. if stairs are a problem for you.
The price is/was reasonable.
Luxurious High End Villa
This is a luxurious high end villa with all the amenities of a five start hotel. It has an incredible vibe of grandeur with tall ceilings, rare art and wide windows with incredible views. The sea view with the beach is breathtaking and the sunset unforgettable. The hosts are definitely super hosts! The gym equipment along with the view is something special. The wifi is very fast in comparison with other places we have stayed in Greece. Strongly recommended.
We loved the relaxed atmosphere of this hotel. It's peaceful but only an easy 3 min stroll into the lively harbour with lots of restaurants, boat trips and boutiques. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful giving us advice on where to visit and umbrellas and beach mats. The breakfasts were wonderful with home made cakes and omelettes cooked to order.
It was a fabulous place to explore the scenic northern part of the island then return for a dip in the pool.
We loved the location, steps from the village restaurants and also a beach. Vaso, our host, is the best part of our stay, though. She is the most thoughtful, friendly, helpful host you will find. She anticipates your needs and takes care of her guests. She is always available for advice and knows everyone. She made us feel very at home in this lovely village.
I loved to sit in the evening under the beautiful bougainvillea. Great location in Fiscardo. Lovely entrance through fruit trees. Vasso the owner is friendly, helpful and thoughtful. She provided chairs and an umbrella for the beach, beach towels too. At night there were lit candles on the patio. We stayed in the studio & the room.
If staying in Fiscardo, the location of the property is excellent! You are in the heart of Fiscardo, making the stay easy and convenient. The grounds are well kept, the rooms are exceptional. Clean with all the facilities one could ask for. The room we had was large and spacious making our stay an absolute delight.
The location was perfect for where we needed to be, Fiskardo. A 10 minute drive to the harbor. Local beach just about 8 minutes by car.
The villa is beautiful and the view from the upper balcony is gorgeous. The hosts were so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend Villa Ektama.
We stayed here 1 night, the room was spacious, clean and with a fully equipped kitchen. It also has a balcony with a sea view. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious.
10min walking from Fiskardo city centre.
Highly recommend Stella Hotel Apartments. .
Great: location , pool, room , bed, bathroom
Very clean Lovely big terrace , shutters made the room really dark , no annoying lights , bed comfy , so slept so well
We walked to & from Fiskardo every evening about 15 mins each way not too steep
Beautiful location and views. Fiskardo is the prettiest town in Kefalonia. Really nice toiletries in room. Very nature-focused. The food and drinks at the hotel are great and fairly priced.
Great location, very comfortable room (the sofa bed easily fits 2 adults), beautiful flowers all around, breezy. A myriad of beautiful beaches / creeks a few minutes away by car.
