This lovely little hotel is very eco conscious. Very close to everything in Zara, comfortable, well thought out rooms. Great breakfast. Above all extremely friendly couple who own and run the hotel could not have been more kind and generous with their time when we arrived in need of medical assistance. It’s an interesting old building on a beautiful square in Zafra. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and the WiFi was good. Breakfast was good and the staff were very pleasant. On our last morning there was a local power cut and they arranged for us to have breakfast at a nearby cafe which had power.

Lad behind the bar pleasant but only Spanish spoken which made communications very difficult. Down to us to learn but is very helpful when at least a little English understood. The public bar was very busy/noisy not somewhere we felt we wanted to eat as cigarette smoke wafting in from the tables outside.
