Lovely small city with some great restaurants. Lovely scenery and relaxing vibe. Ferry just south to Germany was above our expectations. We were recommended Restaurant B but you need a reservation...the place smelled of excellent cooking! They recommended we try Bangs Have...awesome place with a very good Chef and Luisa the maitre di/server was outstanding. She gave us top service and good choices. Loved our meal and the location on the water and in the trees is Magical!! Try this place you won't be disappointed.

The town is frankly rather non descript.
The town is frankly rather non descript. The largest hotel has a glorious position by the lake. Eating out in centre is mostly choice of second rate pizzerias. I love Denmark but will give this place a miss next time I am passing.
After a warm welcome from our host Morten we already felt at home. The cabins are brilliant overlooking the sportsgrounds which provided a clean, healthy and peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen and the extra facilities are spacious and clean. A supermarket is just around the corner and the city centre just a little walk away. I wish we could have participated in Maribos Okotoberfest and would have ordered one of the amazing breakfasts they offer at the hostel.
The hotel is really close to the lake (we had a room with a lake view) and this is amazing! so beautiful and relaxing!
The hotel is 5-minute walk from the train station, there is a pizza place and a kiosk right next to the hotel and few more places to eat not far away.
The room is huge, with a balcony.
Shower is OK.
Breakfast and the restaurant facility is excellent.
There is an option to leave the baggage in the front desk if you need.
PilgrimsHuset is a nice little accommodation in the middle of Maribo. There are some small sights nearby, a lake and plenty of places to eat, drink or do something else.
Kevin the host was outstanding at welcoming us and handing over the room. We were even allowed to safely park our motorcycles behind the building. If we didn't have to leave the next morning, we would have happily stayed longer. Thank you Kevin for a great stay.
I want to thank especially Mr. Kevin. A great place ever not only in Maribo but I feel in all Denmark. Just because of owner Mr Kevin, great guy, very helpful and good human. I would love to stay here in the future too if I get chance to come Maribo. I love the place with all facilities, gesture to the guests and of course with beautiful scenarios. In short I loved the hospitality.
It was great to have a whole home to ourselves in the perfect location for exploring Maribo. The kitchen was fantastic, and we enjoyed being able to make a full home-cooked meal in the middle of our travels. The check in process was easy once we had the code, and it was nice to have the privacy, as the host does not live on property.
Conveniently located right by the lake, walking distance to anywhere in Maribo. Kevin is wonderfully attentive and kind. Even shared facilities are not crowded as there are very few rooms to share them with. The shared living room creates a nice environment so that one doesn't feel confined to the small room.
the location was very nice in the center of Maribo with small old and cosy houses. the apartment was new and clean. the bathroom was big and was divided in shower and toilet which worked fine. It was silent even though it was in the city. in a few minutes you were at the lakeside where you can walk.
Excellent location in the old town of Maribo. The backhouse with two rooms are cozy with everything you need. The young owners were friendly and helpful. The room is really excellent value for money and I can highly recommend a stay there.
The location was great, Maribo is only 6km from Knuthenborg Safari Park.
It was a very easy & smooth check-in, just with a key box by the door.
The house is well equipped & the beds very comfortable.
The apartment is easy to find (yellow), cozy, near to the station and nice. The kitchen is equipped with all you can need for your cooking! The bathroom is clean and spacious! We will visit again!!
It’s a very old fashioned hotel in a very quiet village. How they can charge so much for a room with a soft bed and no curtains is beyond me, and breakfast was not even included.
We had a very unfortunate situation where we needed to leave one day early. The hotel staff were so kind and helpful and even refunded us our nights stay.
